so its awesomely better for T-mac's reputation to go into a game cold with a strained tendon in the back of the knee, to compete with athletes who have played for nearly 1 1/2 hours before he checks in. Wow, do you even play sports?

Yao had a broken foot and still showed up for the All-Star game. Might not have played in it but didn't talk about skipping all together. T-Mac on the other hand has in the past talked about blowing off the New Orleans and Las Vegas All-Star games. Even if he can barely move, he should still go and if he can play two minutes at half speed, then you do it. You just tell the coach that's what you're gonna give. All-Star game isn't even a game anyways so who cares. Just show up and throw up a couple of shots.

 

It's getting dangerously close here to the point where you've either got to believe that the Rockets' medical staff is incompetant or T-Mac is exaggerating the extent of his injuries.

 

Predicting healing time can be like predicting the weather. There are many factors involved. All you can do is make an educated guess.

Just because you can carry a team doesn't mean you are a leader.He has mega talent and abilities which he can beat a team by himself with little or know help at all. But when you talk about LEADERSHIP which to me is a individual who inspires others to follow in his or her's example of whatever it may be. Tracy doesn't fit that bill,he doesn't motivate or inspire the next person to become like him or walk in his shadow.

if you read his first post, his saying Mcgrady is a p***y. So really his not even talking about his injury. So if Mcgrady did do what he said and go out and not look like a p***y its obviously the best thing possible for him isn't it? The guy is going play through the pain play through the pain. Its not even about the injury which pisses me off further.

 

Now is up to Yao and the rest of the scrubs to step it up for real...

Yao went out last year and Deke, J.Howard and Tmac kept the team in the playoffs hunt. I fully expect Yao to do the same with way better talents on the bench than last year.

 

This injury may be a little worse than expected. I hate to say this, but I'm going to start to heavily scout college basketball now. Without T-Mac they won't make the playoffs. DraftExpess here I come.

 

mac will be back on tuesday. if anything, it's just one more game.

again, he never said he can't play on saturday. there's another practice tomorrow to see how his knee responds. sometimes the soreness and pain are worst b/c it has been his first practice in a month. maybe it'll loosen up tomorrow. he just said if the game was TOMORROW, he wouldn't play.
