No give Battier. Give TMac. Tru Warier needs ball and TMac no give ball. Warier+Batier = HARD. TMac not = Hard.

Artest only scores in broken plays and 1on1 sets. He is a sketchy shooter. And he doesn't make his teammates better on offense. So no, I would not trade McGrady for him.

    No Thank You!

Bring in Artest so he break up plays and get his? Sure he's good defensively, but all he's going to do is wanna be #1 and take scoring opportunities from everyone else. We already have the Chuckwagon, who pretty much is the same defensively. The Chuckwagon doesn't need to score, just like Artest doesn't need to score, yet he still wants to.

I agree with the no part but with you other adjectives I'll pass. D would be good but artest is questionable to run the offense and with our set of guys its already too touchy to put in a loner.

However Artest does play with aggression and will get to the line unlike Tmac

Worst part is that he thinks he's as good as a T-Mac or Kobe on offense so he'll take a good amount of shots. T-Mac questionable shot selection is nothing compared to Ron Artest and his selection. He plays so awkward on offense that I'm surprised he puts up 18ppg.

His FG%, 3pt %, and TS % are comparable to or better than McGrady's.

He is effective on offense. Rick Adelman and he also did a good job turning the Kings season around after his trade to SAC.

This team needs to stop worrying about style points and just play smash mouth basketball with Ron, Chuck, Yao, Shane and Bonzi. They need to get their b**** asses out there and bang some men.

He throws up a lot of contested shots, especially when he's double or triple teamed, whereas T-Mac just misses wide open jumpers. At least T-Mac knows when and where to shoot. Artest just throws up any shot.

Too bad Artest is injured more than T-Mac.

It's not all about scoring or how well you shoot. Artest doesn't nearly have the vision or passing ability of T-Mac. Tracy will find you if you are open. Like someone stated earlier, Artest makes decisions like forcing up shots while being doubled/tripled team where T-Mac would have found the open man. Tracy doesn't lead the team in assist by default, there is a reason for that.

Ok but Warrior is a head case, rapper and a wife beater.
    McLovin is not.

    1. Tracy is a headcase, too. Just a different type of head case. Adelman seems to deal better with the Warier's type of head case.

    2. What do you have against rappers?

    3. Wife beating is generally not a good idea. But you know, it kinda depends on the wife. No?

Nothing at all against rappers but ball players shouldn't be rapping, especially during the season. Scratch that, if they could rap, they wouldn't be balling. You never know he might drop another album and request that he takes time off DURING the season to promote it. :p

Only way you would be able to get Artest is to include a package that included T-Mac. Of which I am not opposed to.

you hate rappers? if you hate hip-hop then you hate the NBA!

I could care less if Ron Artest goes out and beats up newbie Clutchfan posters, I only care what he does on the court!

I hate losing in the 1st round every year. you may like it, but not me.

Artest would be on the All-Star team every year if not for his bad boy image.

Ron Artest cannot be a "Tru Warrier." First, he would have to be playing for Golden State. Second, Artest has "o" in his game -- Warrier does not.
