The Rockets made a couple great trades that year, and got Sura back in mid-December, I believe.

I don't see anything like that happening this year.

I'm not counting on James neither Francis our bench is deep enough, Scola, Wells, Brooks, Head, and the emerging Landry.

We miss a big 6-8 Guard that can create for him and other, explode any game, get rebounds attack the basket, and make thing happen in the 4th quarter.

I can't believe that kid started a Rockets suck thread.

A lot of people on this board will have ulcers by the time they're 40 with all the worrying/stressing they do after every loss.

I missed the last two games, no worries. In fact, I still think we will make the playoffs. If we don't, I'm happy we're not Minnesota and that have two rings.

How long are you going to hang on to the nostalgia of winning two rings? The Rockets haven't won a playoff series in 10 years. This franchise has been a joke since then.

How about T-Mac for Steve, Cato, Mobley

How about Getting Scola for Who???????

How about drafting Yao when everybody label him as a bust.

We no CD wasn't the best GM, but Morey will change this franchise.

I would like to believe but after tonights game I think we should all accept that Rockets are right now mediocre team and that's the way we should look at them.

Dreaming of title, WCT, or even first round pass is right now very tough and even every optimistic fan can't be sure about it.

Season 04-05 was really different than this is, you could saw that team will get out of bad shape sooner or later but let me ask you something!

Did you really expected 51-31 record when the season started?

    Or did you expected more?

    Oh...that's what I expected too.

#!%! right! This team is no joke! Look at our starters:

PG: Rafer Alston - a player we couldn't even give away
SG: Luther Head - worst decision maker in the NBA
    SF: Rudy Gay - oops
PF: Chuck Hayes - the envy of the league at PF

No way, whoever called this team a joke is absolutely wrong!

Yeah...it took major roster change to shake the team up. Not major in the sense that we brought in all stars...but that there were a number of moves made. The team that was 20-19 was not the same team that finished the season and was still eliminated in the first round. As an aside, when did elimination in the first round become a water mark for success with the Rockets?

I'm trying to be optimistic...but it appears there is something fundamentally wrong with this team's makeup. And, yes, anything is possible. And I believe it can get better. But something needs to change significantly.
