He is the positivity to all the negativity on this board.

Someone out there must counteract the poison dripping from all the trade happy posters on here.

yeah its totally possible McGrady could inspire us to ONE win.

he does it from time to time, but yet we are mediocre with AND without him...

the Spurs arent all that great right now. We couldnt get them at TC at a better time.

damn. i always thought teams were accepted into the playoffs by their win/loss ratio. oh well, hopefully we'll beat those damned 76ers next season then.

would i rather us lose all games to spurs/suns/lakers/jazz, or us losing all games to 76ers? hmmm, i'm happy with the former. Thanks though.

Rockets don't need McGrady to beat the Spurs. It's all about Bonzi. Spurs are just one team and the Rockets are needing success against more than one team.

SA have some match up problems against Houston.

1- Nobody can Defend Yao forcing Duncan to play defense on him.
2- Bowen can't hold T-Mac for some reason, maybe to strong to long.
3- Bonzi is a nightmare for SA because once T-MAC is playing with him, Ginobili is force to guard Bonzi and he can't do it at all, Bonzi is way to heavy for him.
4- Rafer and team defense for some reason have dont a great job on Parker forcing him to the perimeter and taking the layups away.
5- Hayes play good defense on Duncan.

And they have face so much that there is no surprise by the Rockets, the know them very well.

Is one of those match up problems that teams have. And basketball is all about match up.

The Rockets have the same type of match up problems.
    1. We can't stop Parker.
    2. Duncan can cause us all sorts of problems at PF.
    3. SA does have good 3pt shooters so our collapsing defense can cost us.

Maybe he has faith in the team.

One thing I learned this year being a Chargers fan is never to lose faith in your team.

Parker have a lot of up and down games vs Houston, shooting the ball

Duncan have up and Down games is like when He score good, parker don't, Like they can't get good games together vs Houston.

We limited their amount of 3 point for some reason.

We are last 3 years 6-6 and Yao and T-Mac hasn't play together 4 out the 12 games. All the games are low low scoring games no team have go over 100 points. Is the reality I wish we can say the same vs New Orleans or Dallas.

The last thing I read is that there is a high probability for TMAC to sit out of this game with the San Antonio Spurs, as he had yet a full training session to see the effect to his knees/tendons.

He will opt to come back later......

So don't be surprised if McGrady again chooses to no-show for this game with the Spurs.

Don't be surprised if Yao can't keep carrying the team on his back. He needs his trusty partner in crime, T-Mac. Also, don't be surprised if Yao gets shut down AGAIN by teams that front him.

dude u think T-mac is a consistent player? really??

T-mac can keep his offense effect for a quarter or two, but never seen him keep this for the whole game

also he can play tough defense for 5 minutes while he's been provoked, other times i just saw him played like a death fish!! :(

i don't know man, i think tmac might be misunderstood far too much. I think he's the most talented player in the league right now and maybe he does get tired sometimes of his teammates choking since the opening minutes of a quarter.

It's incredible that he is able to do what he does when his team is playing the way they are. And how is he supposed to play defense when his teammates are getting constantly schooled at both ends of the court?

Anybody watch the 07 playoffs? Remember when 4 out of 5 of the rockets on the court were choking at all times? Tracy almost beat the Utah Jazz 1 on 5. You could have just left Rafer and Head and Juwan and pretty much the whole damn team at home, and the results would have been the same.

Just the simple fact the the man leads the team in assists, never bite the hand that feeds.

Accepting your half full court for just a moment, which of the teams ahead of the Rox are looking even remotely likely that they will fall back to a resurgent Rox play-off push?

A team does not play in the spring if they are not one of the TOP 8. We have no evidence of moving anywhere this spring not named Secaucus. We may have the best record ever of a Lotto, but Lotto APPEARS to be looming over the New Jersey swamps.
