I may watch the first few episodes like I do every season to see the judges smash the hopes and dreams of all these REALLY bad singers who have no idea that they suck so much. But even that isn’t as good as it used to be. A lot of the really bad singers are just faking it trying to get on TV.
I did the same the first couple of seasons, but it just got old. They seem to center more on the trainwrecks than the actual good singers.
WOOOHOOOO !!! I love this show ...... Can't wait...gonna have to DVR it though...Rocks are playing. DD
That's what pisses me off most about this show. ALL of the contestants are prescreened and auditioned long before they meet Simon and Company. Of course they should have been told to go home a lot earlier. Instead they are kept around for laughs.People have caught on a know how to act to get on television. And I'd be willing to bet a lot of singers with some actual talent are booted because they aren't good looking enough. Millions will watch tonight because of the writers strike there's nothing really good on network tv now, or very little.
I'll watch.. but I can rarely make it through all the trainwreck auditions. I'll try, but I usually start watching it more after this part. I know...it's abnormal for a dude to operate like that. whatever.
dude ur right man. there's like 20K people in that arena..and they pick these idiots to pass on to the main judges? i dont think so. 2nd. what's with this long ass bios about people we dont care about? when do they tape it? before they find out they are truly horrible? seems fishy. this show is just not real anymore. show some people who can sing..and couple of hilarious ones..and move on. sheesh.
half the time what you see isn't what you get. for instance, when the camera is on the judges, they're not always in front of the singers. it's edited to make you think they are. notice how they don't show the (mostly bad) singers and the judges in the same room at the same time.
eh..what about when they shake their hands and stuff? i think the producers purposely send bad people every so often.
Well a friend of a friend made the cut in Dallas and she was on the promo for the show tomorrow. Her first name is Kady.
I like to watch the first part of the season when you have the trainwrecks on there. I could care less who actually wins. Tonight I saw a former student on there. Any one remember Milo Turk the social worker from Atlantic City? He had some special song he had prepared. I hardly saw/heard it because I was busy trying to call up ex-colleagues to alert them. Man, I even called my ex-wife!!! Milo got tossed...
