So I'm over at my sister's house yesterday. I hog the TV and watch the Giants game from pre-game to post-game. Mweanwhile, my niece is hounding me to let her get the TV so she can play her Hannah Montana Wii game. She forces me to agree to watch her show off the new song she just unlocked the day before in exchange for watching the ESPN analysis after the post game. 5 minutes into watching her play, I'm actually tapping my feet along with the music. I won't ever be caught doing that again, but damn Hannah's got some catchy songs.
She gets it honestly. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6EZuBMLgVNg&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6EZuBMLgVNg&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
i hate to admit it, but i've heard a couple on pandora.com .. and yeah, they are surprisingly catchy.
Oh well my goodness. You know my nephew turned on a gay p*rn yesterday and surprisingly some of the production value was actually very good and I actually found myself wondering if indeed the pizza boy was going to deliver the sausage. -edit- Kam is getting worse than fatty with the youtube videos
the Best song is If we were a movie. You sat down with your Niece and enjoyed something. That's quality time.
this song? <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RW2Ryfv0gXU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RW2Ryfv0gXU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> the lyrics are pretty cheesy, but this could easily be an avril song.
Yeah... so my daughters have me singing some of these and I am annoying the heck out of them. I am officially a DAD. Well? How did THAT end? Was the sausage DELIVERED, or no?
My daughter loves this one song called "Life's What You Make It" (or something like that). I actually liked that song better when it was done by Talk Talk (obviously a completely different song but I digress). Anyway, she has the TV on Disney and some Miley song comes on and she starts dancing and singing to it. I'm like "Oh, there's 'Life's What You Make It'" and she says, "Nope, that's a different song." I was then (to myself because I knew she wouldn't get the reference), "Glad to see that Rick Astley is alive and breathing but only due to being re-incarnated into a 14 year old girl."
It was probably written by the same middle aged producer who writes all the other teen pop songs on the radio today.
damnyoursmart http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lukasz_Gottwald has written and produced for artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Jibbs, Lady Sovereign, Kelis, Avril Lavigne, Marion Raven, Missy Elliott, P!nk, Lil' Mama, Mos Def, the Backstreet Boys, Daughtry, The Veronicas, Carlos Santana, Vanessa Hudgens and the Sugababes.
My daughter is 3 going on 11. She got introduced to Hannah during the holidays by her big cousins, and now she wants to hear on the radio is Hannah Montana. My car radio now has a preset for XM disney .
No, actually, it is due to the fact that ima_drummer2k is one of the biggest closet Hannah Montana fans you will ever find. He likes to drop a little bit of knowledge here and there about it but not too much because he doesn't believe in being a showoff, if you know what I mean.
