Im in the market for a good laptop $400-$500. I know some of you guys on here know of good sites with good deals here and there. Can you help? BTW, whats the best way to sell a laptop with a bad circuit board? What should I expect in return when everything works fine but the circuit board?

You can get a Dell Vostro on their small business website for your price range. You can also get it with XP, which is a huge plus in this day of Vista pushing. EDIT: Forgot to mention- whatever you do, don't buy a HP. Pieces of junk.
spend 6 bills and get a Vostro. My father in law and one of my best friends got the 15.4 inch ones. Solid pc's.
The fiscal year for Dell ends in the next several weeks and they might have some aggressive pricing during that timeframe. Perhaps competitors will also have a similar approach to stave off Dell.
