i honestly believe if Aaron Brooks, instead of Luther Head, was in the game in final 8 minutes, the Rockets would have won the game. Head doesnt play defense anyway and Brooks offense is every bit more than Head's.

west and paul killed us, obviously scola and alston had nothing to do with them. Yao did a excellent job except the final shoot which indicates that he is not a clutch player, but it was not his fault.
we can see a great improvement in our conter-speed ability from this game, we can do a better job after T-MAC's return.

Rockets could have won this game without McGrady (how many games have the Rockets won against the Hornets with Tmac? At least this was close), too bad for the refs and poor play by the guards. Really I think AB, Scola and Landry need more playing time.

Pretty good, hard-fought game against a very good team. Yao was a beast but the rest of the team seemed to bog down when he was in the game.

Another impressive game by Brooks. The guy knows no fear! I would've liked to see him in for Head in the final minutes. He might've given the team the offense outside of Yao that it desparately needed.

I thought you played an excellent game. It's just that you win some and you lose some. I hate the fact that every t-mac supporter is jumping out and using this as the prime example of us needing t-mac, even when we lost against to both Boston and NOH by less than 5-7 pionts each respectively.

To me, those two non-calls was the killer. Although, if we were even slightly luckier, the in-out hook shot would of won us the game.

I liked what I saw though, Yao forcing the officials to make the call although he was only successfuly on 1/3 tries. Screw those fadeaways! Even the missed layup when Yao went in for the up and under move was much preferrable.

Can somebody send a boycott letter to the NBA? Until all the gambling corrupt referees like Tim Donaghy are gone, we will stop watching the NBA.

And Adelman can't draw a last second play! What the heck was that?!? WHY isn't Novak in??!

Simply, Rafer does not display the same confidence and poise he does against elite guards compared to crappy guards

One more thing: Yao should never shoot anything beyond 16 feet unless there is 1 second left on the shot clock. I haven't seen him making any of those long jumpers this year. When Yao first came into the league he had some range on his jumpers, but now he's limited to within 12 feet. Yao's long range jumper is a low percentage shot and hence not a good option even if he's open.

    That was our game.
In the end refs didnt call 2 fouls on yao and because of these two fouls, Hornets got 5 points.

I dont know why but against good our other players dont play well. (Alston, Battier, Hayes etc) OUr stars have to do everything like Yao tonight.

Your right aaron brings another player with confidence in the last minutes of the game. Head disrupts our execution in the crunch with no defense and bad decision making

Thats not what he said at all. He said that they were playing great and was happy for them. He mentioned that they had an easy schedule, thats all. Dont try to make up **** just so T-Mac can look bad.

That argument goes both ways. It can't be verified, but a lot here are claiming that we would of won this if T-mac was there. I respectfully disagree.

we are 2-6 in last 8 games against Hornets. We just have no answer for Chris Paul, yes, even with T-Mac in the line.

With today's game, I am still happy with our play, angry about those things happen around ball that killed a great game.

Overall, we are still a good team.

Boston lost to Wasighton today and you can't say they are not good, Portland lost to Toronto and you can't say Toronto is a better team.

When some of the teams play in NBA, they just have one or two they always can't beat.
