I noticed that too, James was the only one who wasn't really "enjoying" the game. He looked lost. I agree with Clutch about James being the "odd man out", he is really struggling and doesn't look confident at all. It's sad cause he's from Houston and when he came back we were all happy about it. We never expected this to happen. But the team doesn't need him, and he is not good enough. This may turn out as a trade.

Otherwise, the game was really fun to watch.
You could see how bad the Wolves are, it was just horrible basketball.
Landry is amazing, he has a bright future and I believe he was a steal in the draft, when you see his improvement, Bill & Clyde were talking about everyone (coach, assistants) being just impressed with his play, and he showed tonight he deseves playing time in every game.
Scola was really impressive too. The Landry-Scola combination is terrific cause they are two totally different power forwards and the defense can't leave them alone.
The starting lineup did a good job get the early lead, Battier in particular was very effective on both ends. Yao had an easy game, it's good to get a rest.
I noticed AB wasn't always concentrating, he lost the ball a few times, but had some GREAT assists. It was good to see Novak and Snyder on the court, and everyone scored.

5 wins in a row, the tough one is coming up but I believe the Rockets can continue the streak, still without T-Mac, but it's not going to be the same oponent at all.
It feels good to be 20-17, now let's continue !

Hayes has been shutting down big name players all season. Landry couldn't even guard Craig "John" Smith.

 

haha so true. Everytime landry get scored on he slap the ball

 

Defense seems to be underrated with some members of this board.

 

James is getting paid 5.6M this season, 6M next, then 6.4M.

Has that guards over 30 thing taken hold or is trying to get traded? It's pretty hard to believe how he's completely lost his shot.

 

I dont remember that exactly, but it didnt strike me as jarring, so it wasnt anything like he didn't think T-Mac could do it. More like he thinks T-Mac WILL do it. He said it pretty nonchalantly. Also may have added that T-Mac is looking forward to doing it.

 

hey can any one post a video of the game. for some reason, half of my channels were frozen (i live in sugar land, tx) so i missed the game. thank u to anyone who can post a vid. also, did anyone else have the same problem as me?

This is an off the subject question that I hope someone can answer me. I will be in H-Town for the Foofighters concert and would like to know if the Rocket's Shop is open during a concert event at the TC?

 

I know it was the T-Wolves, but Landry looked legit. I am stunned by his performance. He has flashed some talent in his brief appearances, but, wow, he has major explosion off the floor. They have to give this kid some more time. He could seriously address the constant double team on Yao. Much better than Hayes. And Scola continues to impress me. Frankly, our rookies may be better than the starters.

 

where can i download this game guys?

No need to wait, it has already happened... Landry > hayes brotha... We know what Chuck Hayes can offer to the Rockets but with Landry, the sky is the limit for the young fella... Landry tonight clearly showed tremendous Potential and Upside for the ROckets...

 

That may very well happen for a couple of games when TMac comes back to get him back into game shape. If it works, we may see more of it. Personnally, I like the idea.
