Hopefully it will be Skip to my Lou that shows up and not SPIT to my Lou. You know, Rafer Alston and not Slasher Alston. Sorry, couldn't resist the chance. :D

So do you have to buy anything to meet them? (interested in meeting Scola)
Or do you just go, say hello and leave?

Either way, if I decide to go I better check my wife has paid her bill ;)

There is always a catch. You probably have to buy a new phone and contract just to get into the secured room where they will be.

i don't think there is a catch, my friend saw Mike James last month in Humble T-Mobile store and he said nobody was there, just walked in, got an autograph, and left, then again, this was Mike James :p

lmao why the hell would anyone want to go to a t-mobile store?

methinks the only people that will be there are Scola/Alston, employees, and rockets fans...no customers.

I met Scola today and my wife took a picture with him at this event (not the greatest picture taker in the world). He was very nice and open. I asked him if he missed Spain and he said a little. He always smiled and let everyone take pictures with him. Certainly enjoyed the bit I talked to him, humble yet confident.

I can post the picture but have no idea how to do it. When I click on image it said something about a script prompt and entering the text to be formatted.

Yes, he just played for a spanish team the last 6 years before coming to Houston. That's where he developed into the Spanish league MVP. I'm certain he loves Argentina first and foremost, it's just Spain is a beautiful country and I was curious to see if he missed the lifestyle.

He seemed very happy to be here though.

saw Scola also, I went towards the end of the hour, like 4:50, tried to make it to Rafer up north but the 45 traffic was being a b**** as always.

anyways, Scola was cool, not really talkative, was attentive to everybody that came up to him, at least he didn't have a look like he didn't want to be there. I got a pic with him and he signed my Battier ball I got in the playoffs last season
