I think a lot of what's said about tracy and yao are unfair. I have issues with a 7'6 guy being guarded and scored on by 6'9 guy. I have problems with tracy not being in attck mode more often. The one thing that I never question is a players heart or passion.

Some of you posters don't always show up for work happy and jumping for joy. Some of you don't always go the extra effort at work either. Does that mean you're heartless? I mean the nba is a job. I agree its a high paying job, but don't fault a guy because he is the top .00001% of his craft and you're a school bus driver.I'm not saying that its anything wrong with driving buses, but its not like putting up triple doubles.

As a fan, I try to be a student of the game. I don't care about the chest bumping, trash talking, mean muggin doesn't always equate to heart or passion. To me, just get the job done. To me its more than getting out of the 1st rd. Its about winning the ring. If u don't win the ring, it doesn't matter in my eyes. To do that, the rox need tracy just like they need yao. When playoff time comes and great defense defend the system, the rox are going to need tracy to get a shot. How quickly we forget about the corner jumper during the utah series with the clock running down. ?I'm all for systems, but how many rings did this same system get adelman? How many bricks did the system produce with peja in game 7? Players win rings, not systems.

people forget what we did with yao out and t mac leading the team by his self.People forget at the begging of the season he was playing like a mvp canidate with the system.Without t mac we won't be able tyo beat teams like utah because now that d.fisher is gone they have no one who can guard him.

All t mac has to do is run the floor off rebounds and attack the basket more and he will be fine.He is a great passer and he is damn sure not selfish.I remember people on this site was pissed when somebody else took shots instead o t mac now the same idiots are saying he shoots too much.whats up with that? The problem on offense if anybody is shane.he is doing a pretty decent job on d, but on the offensive side it's not like he creating shots for other people or taking the ball to the hole hisself.

If he doesn't buy into it, trade him. If he does, all well and good, he is a talent. The problem is when he doesn't cut and and doesn't take it to the paint, settling for those clanging jumpers. He seriously has to be one of the most inefficient "superstars" once he starts settling for those jumpers and they aren't falling. He doesn't even get his fouls, and even those have been terribad. If he won't be running the offense but still settling for bad jumpers then he's of much less value to us.

I'd take Rip and Sheeds for him, though detroit probably wouldn't let that happen (what was their kobe package again? Rip + Prince + first rounder?)
