Kid Rock. If you think of him positively whatsoever you're a dumbass. Get back to your garbage routes.
Really? You sound like a rap snob. Go and get yo money little duffel bag boy. Aya bay bay (ay) That's true rap right there, son. Yeaaah, son.
I have about 9 Eminem tracks on my mp3 player, while I have yet to hear a Beastie Boys song worthy of my playlist. They just don't appeal to me emotionally at all. IMO Slim's flow is just on a whole completely different level than beastie boys. I find their voices kind of high-pitched and annoying too. They made some decent jams, but they're really mediocre lyrically when compared to Marshall Mathers.
I voted Eminem. I like Beastie Boys, but Eminem's lyrics and delivery are so right. Honestly, his music kept me alive (literally) during my darkest hour.
Eminem has sold more records. His Lryical talent is among the best. Beastie boys can't even flow that good. I don't know what talent the beastie boys have over M+M.
who cares if he's sold more records? hell britney spears has sold more records than a lot of artists, doesnt make her better. weak argument
??? Lil' Wayne is 1,000,000 times the rapper/artist Kid Rock will ever be. Kid Rock is terrible, and I'm surprised more than one person on this board admitted to liking his music.
Fine lets ignore the fact he sold more albums. In what ways are the beastie boys better. Name me song as meaningful as stan.
I do like the beasties, but I also am not here to debate whose the most important. I was just simply saying using the reason he sold more albums is a weak argument.
LOL! Lil' Wayne. I love you guys that know everything about real rap and nothing about nothing else. I blend wit da hood, I'm camouflage. Vj23k, I can't know you cause you soooooo hooood! Say it again.

Beastie Boys: - Can play their own instruments....could almost end right there. - Huge influence in style and fashion. They influenced "b-boy" attire onto hip hop AND rock audiences. Everyone's wearing Pumas and ringer t-shirts now. What they started wearing in 1991. - Eminem doesnt give a f--k. Beastie Boys CAN give a f--k, lyrically and socially. And they actually do supporting certain world causes. - Beastie Boys can make the distinction NO other hip hop artist PERIOD can make: The 1st ever hip hop album to reach #1 on the Billboard chart. If that isn't importance, I don't know what is... Beastie Boys were important to both Eminem AND Kid Rock. And rap music in general.

The Rugged Man
Call it Rap, call it Crass, but Kid Rock was the first to figure out how Nirvana and Rap would mix. He did a good job with his initial output. As for the rest of his anthology? That's up to you. But he still did for 90's rap what Beasties did for 80's rap. As far as eminem? He took rap music head on, and came up with some insane music that even rap producers had to realize. All of them are pioneers in their own rights.
Atmosphere, bizznitchez. beat and flow is nice. probably top 10 white rapper song ever (Thats the group name not HIS name) <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/igNDd2G7Y0A&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/igNDd2G7Y0A&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
