Which centerpiece of a trade for McGrady would you prefer? Pick one.

You can flesh out the details of a consumated trade or just tell why you centerpiece selection is the best fit for the Rockets.

I forgot the OTHER option, so you'll just have to wing it in your reply here.

ONLY ONE on the list would be Luol Deng or a pick that is in top5.

Redd, brand, arenas are good, however i don't see the point of doing that

None of the above. But a Tmac/Shane for Rip/Prince would be real nice for us as well as detroit.

I might do Tmac and someone else for Tayshaun and Rip, but I want to keep Shane!

I considered one of those guys as a centerpiece candidate, but the way Detroit is rolling I figured they wouldn't want to mess anything up.

I want to keep Shane too, but no way Detroit bites on a Tmac/MJ or Bonzi for both Rip and Prince, who is having a breakout year. But if they do, man, we could be something special by next year.

How about no trade? I still remember those trade Yao threads, trade Alston threads. No It's Tmac's turn.

    Rockets fans are just unbelievable.

    Imagine a lineup of this:

    PG - Alston/Brooks/Francis
SG - Rip/Head/ (MJ or Bonzi)
    SF - Prince/Battier
    PF - Hayes/Scola
    C - Yao/Deke/Scola

Very solid both offensively and defensively. And Rip gives us that pure shooter that be great in Adelman's system.

And even if we had to do a Tmac AND Shane for Rip/Prince:

    Alston/Brooks/Francis
    Rip/Head/Francis
    Prince/Bonzi/
    Hayes/Scola
    Yao/Deke/Scola

    Still really solid.

I would not trade TMac for anybody on that list.

The fact is TMac is a very talented player, to get equal or slightly less value involve a trade w/ TMac is almost impossible.

You guys just have to be patient and wait for TMac to come back.

I say let's wait and see how the team is going to playing w/ TMac back before we even thinking about a unrealistic situation.

after watching the Boston vs rockets game, i felt that we need a guy like Pierce who can shoot as well as attack the ring... ohhh wait... isnt our tmac a guy like that? :D

tmac of course will make us better if we dont change the way we are playing now when he's back..
