How is she more socialist than Obama? Because she is requiring everyone to pay into a system that they get benefit from? What people don't realize is that we have already have universal health care and the insured are footing the bill for it. Hospitals can't turn away patients that are in need even if they can't pay for it. Who foots the bill? The rest of us who are insured. At least with a universal health care plan, we can get everyone paying something into the system and get people care before they have to go to the emergency room.
I didn't say all of them, I said a lot of them, I hope you understand the difference. If you are going to call out someone, at least read their post first.
you asked me what does it mean. I explained, if you took the time to read the post, I was making the point that what the democrats ran on last nov was opposite of what barack is running on. . the point I was making which major did a lot clearer is that most politicians run a platform that they are going to get done no matter the opposition.
Fair enough, you are banking on Obama will be the one who will bring two sides together and get things done. (although GWB claimed as such, see how well that turned out) But I am more interested in what are the things that Obama plans to "get accomplished" assuming he can bring two sides together, and how are those things different than other candidates. To me, Obama is very much like his pal Deval Patrick.
