    Mike James

He was supposed to be a key guy to our "new" team.
Leading the offense, leading other players with maturity, be like some role model to other players and minimize Alston's minutes.
Right now he is leading the bench, tragic man , so freakin sad.

Mike James. I never expected anything from Francis in the first place.

And poll lacks Rick Adelman option IMHO.

Adelman has been a huge disappointment: still seems semi-brain dead. After that, Mike James. Good grief, what happened to that 20 pt. average in Canada?
Steve Francis, wow, I thought Les was crazy for making him a max player, but I never thought he would fall this low. Battier has been very disappointing considering what the Rockets gave for him. I had high hopes for Snyder, that's a joke. I thought Yao would return to his aggressive style pre-injury last season, hasn't happened. Yao looks winded most of the time, and is struggling with turn overs. Still very slow to react, and that is disappointing. TMac's shooting has been largely awful (pre-injury), he is chunking up way too much garbage. Rafer has been Rafer most of the season, but improvements are noted. We clearly have the weakest starting lineup in the NBA at the present time; thanks to the schedule the Rockets have won a few and are still around .500. Our bench is relatively decent, and I am encouraged about the rookies.

Could this team, make a run, and challenge for the playoffs? I am not especially confident about that, but, maybe. I think we need a very smart trade.

I voted for T-Mac only because I expected so much more from him this year.
Not so much in his scoring, but in his overall play and being active on both sides of the court.
He's still T-Mac, but I was hoping for more.

Battier has been struggling but not as big of a disappointment to me, I guess.
Rafer was safe even without his recent surge of good games only because I never expect much from him...
I'm glad he's finishing now...he could always handle the ball.
Mike and Steve have both equally been disappointments but once again...not as much as T-Mac.

I like that Adelman is playing Brooks and Scola more and though I am fine with Hayes
starting over Scola (as long as Scola gets the most playing time) I would not mind seeing Scola start.
So far, I am on the fence with Adelman - not disappointed but not all that happy either.

    Peace,

Mike James duh. He was touted to be our Bobby Jackson from his King's days. He was supposed to be the "microwave" instant offense. He was supposed to be that fiery guy that brought passion and fire.

    He was.....

I'll say its SF3, MJ and T-Mac. I expect these guys to shine this year. Unfortunately, one of them hasn't seen a minute of action in the last month or so, and the 2 another guys are out with an injury for a whole bunch of games.

Manny - This quite possibly might be the best Tracy McGrady analogy I've ever heard. I'm stealing it.

Mike James and it's not even close. He needs to get his thumb out of his ass and try to earn his paycheck by making his shots and attempting to play d.

I expected exactly this thing to happen to T-Mac this season. He's shown he still has what it takes, but doesn't give it his all.

I believed either Francis or James would contribute 10 ppg. Brooks ended up surprising me, I was happy we drafted him, but didn't expect him to be capable of contributing this early.

read it wrong so i voted luther, but biggest disappointment would have to be Francis. Even Adalmen expected him to be the starting point guard.

I'd have to go with Yao Ming's offensive production.

He seems to be missing a lot of easy shots and he is no longer dominating like he was after he broke his leg.

i go tracy, when mj came, i didn't expect anything from him, it's true he can score, but i didn't think he can fit in rox team at first position, we already know what a player he was according to his performance in rox before he went to toronto, and he never changed, except that he became more greedy on scoring. right now, RA's theory wants players to share the ball, that what mj are short in. as for tracy, i thought his back had been doing well, he failed again in post season (which might inspirate him to fight), but... oh, history reappears, u know what, i used to give him so much expectation, value him so much, and i used to thought tracy is a name not only for girl...

Have to go with MJ I honestly thought he would be our consistent 3rd scorer but now hes not even in the rotation. He got his chances but never proved himself but I still hope he can come back and be the player he was with us a few years back.

T-mac did not really disappoint me as that much as SF & MJ.

To be honest, SF is the biggest disappointment so far cause I ve been expecting he was the third man and scorer. MJ disappointed me but I think the deal made it happen and I did not expect much from him. SF is supposed to be our best and most-wanted deal we made.

Although Rafer is doing fine, I still think SF could have been doing better. :(

10 votes for Yao and 3 votes for Luis Scola? They can't be the BIGGEST disappointment so far.

    I voted Yao Ming.
Before the start of the season, i was expecting him to put numbers like this:
    27pts 11rebs 4asst & 2blks 52FG%

He disappointed me so far! :( :D

Hey, why doesn't everybody just label Steve Francis and Mike James the co-scapegoats for the team's rather disappointing start this season and leave it at that?

To tell you the truth, I would have liked to have voted on BOTH of those two in the poll as the biggest disappointment so far.
