great wins im feeling good about this team but the fact is we havent beaten any elite teams without tmac so im not all too impressed, tmac is still a huge factor in this team

I could just imagine if Yao played with 3 LEGITIMATE shooters and a Tuff-ass PF. His numbers would be out of this world. The weakness of this team up to a few games ago was the lack of respect the shooters get which packs the lane for Yao hence the fronting defense.

They should institute the illegal defense again just for Yao's sake.

5.) I think either Rafer or Scola has the best chance of becoming our consistent 3rd scorer when McGrady gets back. But really, the last stretch of games have shown that anyone from Rafer/Scola/Wells/Brooks can step up and be that 3rd guy. Even Battier can be added to the list.

Things are looking good, but I suspect there will be some growing pains for a few games upon T-mac's return. Let's hope they don't last long.

What's got to be key is making the other team pay for doubling Yao. Anytime the double comes the eyes of the other Rockets should light up. They should be thinking "Oh boy, here come my points". Scola understands that and it showed tonight.

Am I the only one who had a problem with Scola going for the garbage points at the end? When you are almost up double digits run the clock...

Maybe I'm just being too picky. Good win...great game by Yao.

Rafer's clearly thriving under Adelman right now. I have to say my opinion of him is going through a 180.

What would really impress me is, after T-Mac gets back, if Alston waves him off in the back court when Tracy calls for the ball.

Great to see Mac on his feet cheering for Yao's dunk, and his facial expression after Scola made that shot in the 4th was pure gold.

Yao has homecourt advantage at the Knicks Stadium LOL. I think half of the crowd there must've been chinese.
