As a long time fan of the Houston Rockets, I was glad to see that the team is pulling together and showing great promise, yet I must also say that the game was NOT entertaining! :p

    Got it.

I know we were tops on that list at one point. I don't know if we have been in recent weeks. I am sure we are still up there.

I know we have currently played as many, or more, road games than any other team in the West.

Either way, we have had a very tough SOS, like you said, and lots of road games so let's see if we can take advantage of the flip side going forward.

Can't agree with your view of neglating all the changes the team has made to win games. It sounds like from a guy who never watched the games so far in the season.

We were below .500 even when Tmac is healthy. We will have no chance to win those elite teams if we play the old way even with Tmac. Simply because other guys didn't get involved enough when Tmac was playing and our offense was totally leaning on Tmac and YAO who're the only 2 guys averaging double digits. No smooth flows, no attacking to the rim, no 3 open 3pts.

When Tmac was out, all the sudden, we were running the ball like Suns and everybody contributes on both ends. It only proves that we could become a much better team if eveyone passes the ball rather than one person hogging the ball and others standing still waiting for the pass. Then we can utilize his talents the break the ice when crunch time comes.

We will become a elite team only if Tmac understands how imiportant for him to fit in the new system and help the others get better.

It happened in several games. I'm not saying we were playing running & gun. Just if you look at the half-court offense of Suns, you will find they move the ball quick around the perimeter to create open shots. We mainly did the same plus we moved the ball inside-out as well when YAO was swarmed.

After Yao had a good start but finished the game bad, the morons would say Yao is not clutch and can't close a game.

After Yao had a bad start but finished the game strong, the morons would only mention Yao had a sucky first half.

After Yao had a bad start and finished the game bad too, the morons would have orgasm party with each other.

After Yao had a good start and finished the game strong too, the morons would crawl back to hide in their holes, go through a period of depression and hope for the Rockets to lose the next game and Yao played poorly too so they may be able to have an orgasm party again.

    Morons are morons.

I see what you mean now. I still wouldn't say "like the Suns" but there has certainly been better ball movement.

When you originally said we were "RUNNING like the Suns", I thought you must have been talking about these Suns: http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncb/clubhouse?teamId=3097

LMAO. Your list of morons starts with Rofflesaurusholz and ends with StarScream with a lot of names to be filled in-between. LMAO.

I love T-Mac, but he does have to make a significant effort to adapt to the way the team is playing now. That is, quick passing, quick decision making, hard cutting, and lots of lay-ups. He's going to have to actually run now and not walk up the court all the time.

I can't believe some of the posters saying that the team is actually better without him, dude, they're just getting used to the system. Just because Yao is playing well doesn't mean T-Mac should be booted. We still need the guy. Just plain dumb is how I'd describe some of the posts here.

VERY TRUE!! GREAT POST! yes he's doing great tonight, 24 points but really can't change the fact that he is not long term piece if our final target is the ring!! I still rememebr those horrible mistakes during the last few games..

Ditto. Outside of Head's shooting, I thought their defense on Butler and Jamison was outstanding. Those two Wizards went 9-29. Think about it, the leading foward tandum minimized by Hayes & Battier.

we need more production from scola and the others, the wins we had are still scary because most of them we're within the margin of 10 points
