Mark Stein just reported on NBA Coast to Coast on ESPN2 that the Rockets have had exploratory trade talks with Chicago concerning Tmac. Maybe this "rumor" has some truth to it after all?
chicago? there's nobody on that roster that i think is a good fit for our team...hopefully it involves a 3rd team
Chicago GM should be named as the worst GM of the year, simply because their early trade talk with Lakers.
Marc Stein from ESPN said that the Rockets and Bulls had indeed a little talk about Tracy McGrady. He also said that the Rockets "might have to shake things up" because it doesn't appear that the other teams in the playoff race will let up.
have you watched ben gordon played? forget about TMAC making bonehead jumpshots at the end of games, ben gordon takes boneheaded THREE's at the end of games, the only upside to ben is that he drives to the basket
I really wanna see Tmac back on the court in a Rockets uniform again and see how he responds before we start talking trades. It could be a risk to his trade value, but Tmac quite possibly could be back in great form and we don't want to regret anything.
At this point I think there's way too many reports out there in the mainstream press for there not to be a little grain of truth at the center of all these rumors. That said, there's no better cure for malaise than winning. If T-Mac comes back and the Rockets really start clicking all of the backroom trade talks will probably just wither and die away. On the other hand if he can't fit in I'm more and more inclined to think that a trade is upcoming.
Tyrus Thomas (bonehead, but RA = player's coach lol) and Hinrich (dependable backup PG). I would've wanted Gordon before, but yeah, he's just a slightly better version of Head. PG: Rafer/Hinrich/Brooks SG: Bonzi/Head SF: Battier/Bonzi PF: Tyrus Thomas/Scola/Hayes C: Yao/Deke
oh yeah, but then again chicago have been talking to EVERY team about a trade this season, so i believe it when it happens, i think chicago put themselves in a hole by bidding on the kobe trades talk, cuz i bet yall that luol deng is pissed that's why he is not putting so much effort in the games right now, so they kinda have to trade him now cuz he's not going to perform for them for dissing him like that
The Lakers wouldn't have talk to chicago for that long if it didn't involved him, and it was all over the news and the lakers forum
the rockets playing well right now is prolly squelching any trade talks if there are any for now, management wants to see how the teams plays with healthy Tmac and if they can climb up the playoff race.
Let TMac play into the new system and see what happens. I hope we will start a winning streak after his return and stop all those stupid rumors. If we trade him, we just can't get equal values in return. TMac has the uniuqe talent that few other players have.
I believe T-mac can play any style of basketball and fits in perfectly. It may take some time for him to adjust after he comes back, perhaps a couple of games.
