Congrats! Dadakota: You never answered me the first 11 times I asked you this, so I'll make this the 12th and final. If you do not answer me, I will just assume you don't like me, and I don't like that thought. So: Will this game be available for the Mac? That is all. Thank you.
Soon as my friend who works at best buy gets his hands on a copy thats been 'accidently' opened by a customer, we'll upload it to a warez site and I'll post the address. Kidding. Congrats doc. What publishing house does he work for?
Truly unbelievable Dadak. Not a finer group than the gang at Fever Pitch. Though I must reiterate Lynus' question, will Steve Jobs receive some love?
Congratulations! Hopefully this new project won't reduce your time on this marvelous specimen called Clutch BBS.
Grrr.... This crap happened to me when I bought NBA Live 2000. I went in CompUSA on the day it came out, which was the day before I left to go to Comdex. At first I couldn't find one and was about to leave, until I found a copy by some DVD's. Apparently, they hadn't put them out yet, but some @ss in the shipping room decided that they wanted one. They pulled it out of the box, sealed it back up, and ditched it on the sales floor, where I found it. Add to this that it was closing time, and the D@mn manager was so appathetic that after I told him I was leaving town for a week in the morning, he said he was too busy now but he'd be glad to help me when I got back, and I went balistic. After a scathing diatribe on my part he eventualy agreed to give me the cash back, but your little felonous scheme just brought back all the anger. Thanks
Congrats, Dakota!!! Really man, I'm very happy for you!! I know you and your people worked your asses off for this and I hope you all succeed greatly. Now if I can just get my piece of junk 'puter to play some games on my Windows 2000 OS, I just might buy it!
Thanks guys ..... Lynus....we do not make games for the Mac, but we may port it to the Mac, that is up to the publisher. MAN...I am on cloud 9 today... WOOOOOHOOOOOO !!! DD
Fair enough. Forgive my ignorance here, but who handles the porting if you don't do it? I thought it was up to the game maker as to what platforms a game would be created for? If "its up to the publisher," can you tell me what publisher you would use? The silver lining concerning Macs being second in computer gaming to Windoze is that by the time the game come out for the Mac, I've usually had time to read enough about said game to decide if I want it. Not only that, but the game is often cheaper due to its initial high-priced run being over. Example: I got the original Diablo for the Macintosh for $15, and it came with two strategy guides.
Wow. Great news, DaDakota! Now, go forth, make a good game, and don't forget to put little CC.net easter eggs in the game...
