If Tmac really wants to be traded, this is the wrong way to do it.

    http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080107/SPORTS0102/801070314/1127

    Half-hearted?

The topic of Tracy McGrady came up in the Pistons' locker room before a game last week. McGrady is now injured and unhappy in Houston. Reports there say he has told friends he wants to be traded -- again.

One player, who shall remain nameless, joked that McGrady was becoming more and more like his cousin, Vince Carter. "They should call Tracy, 'half-man, half a season,'" the player cracked.

    ***********************************************************
I don't know if I buy these kind of rumors. If he does want to be traded, he needs to shut his mouth and let the team handle this. Whining about such things only hurts his trade value. If he's not asking to be traded (if this article is BS) then Tracy needs to make a point of refuting this article.

I hope it is just him mopping....but I would not be surprised if he told some people that, he talks a lot out of both sides of his mouth.

This loser has got to go before his value drops any further. He's like ENRON of the NBA. I can't wait for the day when this cancer is off this team and he takes all the TOFs with him.

Man, this is depressing to read. I know it's pretty obvious he's half-assing out there most of the time... but to hear this kinda BS is pretty much verifying that he is pulling an "Orlando" on us.

What the hell are you unhappy about anyway? It's on YOU... Stop being a punk and get yourself out of the first round

I still like McGrady and I still like The Morphine Drip as his nickname. I don't see us going to the championship with him and I don't see him coming in and playing team ball. It's too bad. T-Mac could almost be Michael Jordan if he really burned for it. He could be Kobe but he's not even that.

I'm not surprised the local wraps haven't picked up on it....they're rarely on top of things even when its happening right under their nose

I didn't believe the 'Tmac is complaining and wants to be traded rumors'. But these reports seem to be popping up more and more. Yes, these seem to be coming from 'my neighbor's friend's mailman's son' kind of thing but still...I hope it's just wishful thinking by the rest of the country.

look at his career numbers in games played. I've never seen someone play so many 65+ games a season and still get labeled as someone who misses "soooo much time".

Does he get banged up and miss a handful of games? yes. Does he have a back problem? yes. But if a guy can play 70+ games a year for the vast majority of his career...the shameless ridicule is uncalled for and flat out venomous.

Tracy better clear his name to the media about all those rumor going on. Be a man to talk to Morey and so Rockets can move on!

Damn we should trade Tracy and Battier for Kobe! We just lost that oppurtunity if that was the case.

I kinda believe it even it might be a rumor, but I still don't think its that bad. In his situation, he could have said anything. The changing chemistry, the annoying fans, the hurting body and the seemingly curse to him...
This season happened a lot things, its not all his fault.

    Don't let it go, TMac!

There has to be some truth to all these rumors.

I have a gut feeling he wants to go back to Orlando and play with D12. I mean he's hinted many times and out of all the games he is injured, he shows up in that game.

And don't tell me that he is in the back get treatment while he's team plays. There is another 10 waking hours he can get treatment.
