I would do that deal in a second: Howard is a beast. He is young, durable, and attacks the rack like a mad man. He is shooting something like 50% from the field. He is clearly one of the ten best players in the West, maybe the whole league. He has terrible teeth, but I can get over that. I believe it is time for a TMac exit. He is a great talent, but it is time for a major change. TMac or Yao are the only players on this team that can be traded for major talent. Yao isn't leaving, so, the best deal for TMac is the target. The right move could make this team a contender. I am hoping for a one for two or three. But, if you can get a J.Howard or a Brand, I would do a one for one.

josh a little better than battier? wow, you are nuts. battier is a better defender, but not a big difference. but josh is a whole lot better offensively. battier is a shooter thats it. josh is a creater, off the dribble, shooter, off the pick, driver, any kind of offense anywhere. i'm sorry, but tracy right now, is an on-off shooter and a driver. but his driving ability is limited, cause he can't make any free throws.

josh salary is 9 million, while tracy is a over expensive 18 mill. so... we have to take a big salary, which is... the 2nd best center in the nba. Eric Dampier. but to sweeten the deal, we'll throw in battier or mike james (their pick) and a 1st round draft pick, for jerry stackhouse and a 2nd round pick.

The only thing i'll say is i'll give whoever made this up a small amount of credit for picking one of the few real stars that we would actually be able to trade T-Mac for.

Brand is recovering from an injury that in all likelihood is going to be affect him in some way the rest of his career. Similarly, T-Mac is likely going to be nagged with the back and knee problems the rest of his career too. Using this logic the two kind of cancel each other out in the risk department.

Your forget that we won't get Josh howard back alone. It will probably be a package of 2/3 of the trio of Harris/Howard/Terry.

Having two of those guys on those rosters will be great. I personally want Terry + Howard on the team.
