Because we beat the bad teams?? More than half the teams make the postseason, but as far as regular season wins are concerned, there are only 3 or 4 good teams, the rest suck.

Your satire has failed miserably. And please don't try to compare yourself to Geoffrey Chaucer.

We need to change our starting lineup soon. Hayes as starting PF will not cut it

T-Mac's is as talented as Kobe, wade, Lebron and every superstar in this league, but he lacks the passion, he lacks the fighting spirit, he gives up too easy. T-Mad is a little bit lazy, he can't wake up in the morning at 5 or 6 am and practise hard as Kobe does.
T-Mac can't be a ture leader, when everybody in this team and all the fans take him as the leader, he proved to su that he can't lead this team.
But T-Mac doesn't like any other guy in this team as the leader either, that's the problem.
Yes we had very impressive record last season after Yao's injury, we had bad record when T-Mac was out last couple seasons. I think that's becouse T-Mac is the only playmaker in this team. With Yao out, Deke and Juwon did most Yao's work, but nobody in this team could finish T-Mac's work.
If we trade T-Mac for a decent shooter and playmaker, this team will be much better.
Since we can't trade T-Mac, I esperately hope he plays with heart and passion after his back.

i think the rockets are doing better plainly because they know that either they have to step up or else they're going to lose even with a center as gifted as Yao is. with tracy on the floor everyone seems too relaxed and dependent on him creating literally EVERYTHING. i think tracy does disrupt the offense a bit but im sure when he gets back everything will be better than it was when he went out. hopefully....

So, you mean there are 26 or 27 teams in the league that suck as much as the Rockets? I mean, they are all heartless like McGrady, slow like Yao, limited like Chuck and Battier, and have the worst PG in the league like Alston? I mean, there are 26 or 27 or so worst PGs in the league?

Man... no wonder nobody watches the NBA and no team makes any money.

People are also forgetting how close we were to beating Boston at the Garden.

Exactly. Rockets can only get their wins against the crappy teams in the league. They never beat the good teams. The only reason they won 52 games last year is they played 20 games against the 5 good teams in the league and lost all of them. Then went 52-10 against the really bad teams in the league. Ya know, those 10 losses against the little sisters of the poor of the NBA were really disheartening. :p

Individual talent is nice but it is how they mesh together to make a team, that is why the Rockets are competing, because the sum of the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

:p Even last year when T-mac was out, we were a very competitve team. We just didn't have anybody to close out the games. A close game tells me that a $10 MM wing player is enough to fill in the 5-7 pt gaps that we keep losing by.

Unfortunately, it is not as apparent as it should be for some people.
