MJ is inconsistent and has proven to be more of the guy from Htown and Minnesota than the Toronto guy. Plus he has no idea of when to pass and when to shoot. He's equally worse as Rafer finishing around the rim
3 more years of MLE money on a player who hardly plays any more. Mike will be very hard to move right now. Teams won't have much faith in his ability to contribute and will not want to take on his contract-- unless the Rockets take on a worse or equally bad one (but then what's the point in trading him). In the end, I think Mike James stays for year or more as an very expensive but possibly useful emergency guy if he actually finds his shot. He might get traded when his deal is closer to expiring and easier to swallow. At the moment, guys out of the rotation but with more modest deals-- Francis and Snyder-- are more likely trade baits.
James had the opportunity to step up and he's failed miserably. He takes the team out of the offense, has played *horrible* defense and is shooting poorly. With the team struggling, why in the hell would Adelman keep going to that poisoned well?
Hell go to James when James starts making hard cuts and starts passing the ball around instead of jacking shots up.
beat me to it.................you could definitely get some talent back for those 2 individuals...........
I've said this all along, his negative totally outweighs his positive, even when the only positive of streaking shooting is on. Otherwise, you'd do better with 4 against 5.
wat is all this talk about james for jones!? Dont we have enough pgs to handle their jobs. how about getting some big men or some athletic fowards cuz i gotta say, were not a very ahtletic team compared to a team like the blazers.
