Re: Gerald Green This paste doesn't do a great job, sorry. This is how he played in games last April, 2007. The last # is ppg. There's a stretch of 21, 22, 33, 12, 21, 8, 25 ppg there. umm...once T-mac returns I think we will be a good team but we have too many guards and I think we should look to get a decent Power Forward. We don't even play alot of our players so..maybe Kirk Snyder we should trade and either Mike James or Steve Francis because neither of them get minutes and we already have plenty of guards. For a decent Power Forward...not sure who any ideas?
Green showed real promise in Boston but has not adjusted well to Minneapolis -- probably too cold. Personally I hope we can grab him while he is still inexpensive ($1.4M now and probably $2.5M or so next year). He could play SG or SF, backing up T-Mc, Bonzi and Shane and probably taking a starting position next year in Adelman's system, for which he is well suited. BTW, he is from the Houston area.
Also CD revealed he tried to trade up for him in the year Boston drafted him. Morey claimed he helped Ainge decide on drafting him which they did using his data.

Successful Trade Scenario Congratulations on a successful trade. Due to Houston and L.A. Clippers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston and L.A. Clippers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Why Houston does this: Mike Miller for his all-around skills + Sam Cassell for his vet leadership Why Memphis does this: They are not going anywhere and they are desperately trying to accomodate Stoudamire. They might think that Maggette is an equal talent to Mike Miller - not as good as a passer and three-point shooter, but more explosive to the basket. Why the Clippers do this: I believe they have been trying to trade Maggette for a while, he had clashes with the coach. They are rebuilding, and Sam Cassell is too old to be in their future plans anyway. They get one of the league's best three-point shooters in Luther Head at a bargain price, who can also run the backup point some (they might think) until Livingston gets back. They get a veteran point guard in Stoudamire, who is years younger than Cassell. They stay athletic because they get Snyder. They have Mike James for both the PG and the SG position. Plus, they get a pick and cash.
Id say that somebody would need to give the Clips something more. If I was the GM for the Clips, I wouldn't throw away my second best player (next to brand) for junk, cash, and picks. I love the idea of getting Miller tho , maybe we could get memphis to throw in hakim warrick or one of their second picks?
Well, to be honest, for that trade, I'd give the Clips our first-round pick. LOL, what did you think, that he was Asian?
I posted the traded at RealGM and Memphis fans seemed to like it, I threw in a future 1st rounder and they were overly excited.
========================================================= One name comes to mind: Antawn Jamison from the Washington Wizards... I'd say trade Battier + James or Wells + 2nd Round pick for him.
and that is all that matters..... i don't think the rox can get sam and mike miller for what essentially boils down to luther head and a first round pick, no way, no how.
Rockets trade: ------------------ TMac Hayes James Milwaukee Trades: --------------------- Redd Yi Mo add a draft pick either way to make it work. starting lineup in future pg Mo, Brooks, Francis sg Redd, Head hmm sf Shane, Bonzi pf Yi, Scola, Landry c Yao, Mutumbo Yao Yi and Mo Redd Head how can that not be good? lol I heard a Milwaukee radio call in show and most people liked TMac and Bonzi for Redd, Val and 1st rounder. I heard a lot of fans that would trade Yi also. Their team needs an over haul so I think they might bite on my idea and it works out within the rules. I think that could be a Championship team, and NO! I am not Chinese. lol Whats yall think?
Sorry, this trade seems highly unlikely. Mil won't trade Yi, there's no reason to do so. Mo is a great young PG, no reason for them to trade him either. They might trade Redd but for me Tracy >>>Redd. I don't want to trade Tracy b/c we won't get equal value in return. If we have to trade him (like if he is really wanting out) then we need to get a young and talented SG or SF who can SCORE, play D, and doesn't get injured. I don't see many players that do all of those that other teams would be willing to trade. Some players I might consider in a package for Tmac: Butler, J Smith, etc.
i like the trade for butler, is it possible we add in battier, and we take jamison? We could always trade jamison again as he have a 16m expiring contract.
