Tough call but even if it was good it's karma making up for the 5 minutes they got to inbound the ball in the first place.
No kidding...I counted 8 seconds before he got the ball in. We got MAJORLY SCREWED there on that no-call. I don't know wtf the refs were doing there. I hope Stan Van Gundy pointed that out when he notified the league 15 minutes after the game. Screw them and their tip-in bs. It should have been our ball. There is no way he got that ball in within 5 seconds.
It was good. The refs made a bad call. Actually they made many bad calls including the off-foul on Yao.
This was a clear example of make up calls. The refs screwed Yao all night long with the worst call I have ever watched!
Maybe it's just me being a homer, but I thought the ball was still on his fingertips when time ran out.
I think it was too close to call but I think it was good but Im just happy it finally went our way so I could care less
i wish someone would post a pic or vid from the side angle shot. that was the best angle in my opinion cause you could see for sure where his fingers were.
If Foyle had gotten his fingers on it at 0.2 it would have been good. He didnt get them on it till 0.1 therefore it doesnt count. I really believe this is what the referee saw and why they made the call they did. And yes, the clock says 0.0 before the red light goes off.
with many bad calls against the rockets, the refs should be careful making a decision on that one. i think the ball was still touching foyle's hands.
To be honest, there's no way for anyone to really know if that shot was good or not. The systems never anticipated something ever being that close that not even the cameras could pick it up well. We can only assume that the refs had a cleaner look that was more difinitive. But from that shot, there's simply no way to know for sure. It's like trying to measure the size of an amoeba with a hand held ruler. Just no way you can do it.
here is the link: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5431476.html Stu Jackson confirmed the refs made a correct call. he said the replay shows one finger tip was still on the ball when the lite was on. the case is closed.
No, it will still be 50-50 on Rockets BBS, because Rockets fans are always "fair", they see lots of wins lucky ones, underved. They see their players underserving for a show. They will still tell you, if you did this or that, it shouldn't come down to such hard decision, etc etc. That's why NOBODY in NBA respects this team, the refs, the opposing players, because your own fans don't.
