Yao outplayed Dwight tonight but so what? When is the last time Yao dominated in a game this season? When is the last time Yao scored more than 30points this season? Feel like 10 months ago!
don't know man..but if rox lost i'm sure there'll be hundreds of "Yao sucks" thread on this so-called rocket fan forum if u said "Yao dominated Howard" Fans will reply: "that's just one game, Howard is better than Yao in all categories" then u gonna say:"Well, Yao dominated Howard in almost every matchups" Fans:"oh bcoz howard was too young, plus yao have height advantage..." then u pull out a stat of yao and howard 1st 3 year effeciency ranking the fans will say:"so wut, howard kicks Yao ass anyway" so... in conclusion, most rocket fans are either Yao haters, racist, or ignorance. that all
Hah trudat Some of fans here are plain pathetic, they hate on their star players with PASSION. They dont even need a reason to hate him.
I don't understand people's attitudes here. How hard is it to celebrate for your own man, harder than to bash him? When Yao outplayed Howard, someone will say, he was supposed to dominate Howard. When Yao was outplayed by Howard (actually they played equally well, buy Magic won), he was dominated by Howard and sat below Howard in the center rankings. Come on, support your Howard in a Magic fans forum, not here.
All fans that make conclusions after one game are idiots. Yao outplayed Howard, but howard has out played yao against the rest of the league generally speaking (not saying howard is better). But if want to say yao is better than howard based on this game, you would also have to say that shaq is better than yao since he "dominated" him earlier this season which no body with a brain would try to argue, so stop with this sillyness.
Look at how many shots Howard made for entire season and then compare the stats. Yao's record drops not because he is not good any more, simply because he shots less and give team more opportunities to shot(wells, Alston, bench players) I HATE people only bring stats, I am sorry, but you are idiot if you only compare the stats. Or prove yourself by comparing TD's stats with Howard and tell me in my face that Howard is better than TD. BS! It is basketball, it is team, team wins is more important than individuals, that's what T-mac gonna learn when he is back. I HATE people BS about our only superstar in this game when they win. GIVE our team some credits. I hear enough of this. when we win first game, they say well, it is a bad team, we are just lucky When we win second, people say it won't prove anything if we can't win the third When we lost 4 and 5th, people say we are going to lottery. When we win 6th, people BS about our player What are you guys thinking about? that's 3-2 record since T-Mac is not with the team, that's our best player. What do you "fans" want anyway? Jesus
"It was the third center in two days who fouled out trying to defend him. The Boston Celtics lost two in a 97-93 win on Wednesday." - This is funny
Like I said in the other thread, it may not be fair, but franchise players are expected to play great every night. So unless it is a career record breaking night or a playoff game win your always going to see more threads when Yao under performs or disappoints than when he has a good game. Especially in a season where we have been playing sub 500 ball.
+1 guys, we are better than that here on clutchfans...leave the name calling out. re-freaking-lax people its Friday, the weekend and we just got a W with 26 and 10 from Yao in only 1,860 seconds of play
I think if you asked any Magic fan, and most NBA fans in general, they would say DH is the Magic's franchise player. He's a fantastic talent and developing quickly. He will need to find an offense outside of 5 feet to be a complete superstar. He is not 7'2" and 300+ like Shaq so he will need to find a few more creative ways to score.
Ok, tell me what star gets threads on their team fan forums praising them after every time they have a good game? If you are a star, good games are expected of you. They get paid $20 million a year because good games are expected of them. Yao definitely outplayed Howard, but I wouldn't consider it domination. Howard had a better game tonight than Yao did against Boston. Howard tonight: 5-11 shooting, 16 pts, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 1 block, 1 turn over Yao tonight: 10-18 shooting, 26 pts, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 4 turn overs Yao vs Boston: 7-20 shooting, 19 pts, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 4 Turn overs. Garnett vs Yao: 11-15 shooting, 26 pts, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks, 1 turn over
i like the courage you showed by posting this thread. I would like to see more rational threads which is not biased to any one.
