I love how bonzi runs away from every flop he does. The rockets are playing very hard. I like what I'm seeing.
The first half of the fourth quarter where we actually got the lead, while Yao was on the bench (remember everybody clamoring for Yao after Pollard and their other big man fouled out... and how Adelman waited an additional 4 minuts to put him in?) And look here... a 9-2 run.
That was kind of a BS call on Hayes too. Is it just me or do the refs go a little crazy any time Yao plays in a game?
Yao was ahead of Head under the basket ALONE. Most guards give up ball to their big man to slam it home, end of story. Did you see Howard closing in on him? which is how the call is made. From that stupid ref's view point, Yao tried to shield Howard away.
oh btw, K.dooling has never met a shot he didnt like even back in LA as a kid he never passes, just runs and shoots
Not dissing... I just didn't like the way the team started the second half... and sometimes being overly Yao-centric is a bad thing for this team (especially if he's not in a rhythm). The one thing they do need is for Yao to start DOMINATING these games. Stop settling for the 20 point night... he can, and needs to be scorind 30+ much like he did in the run of 2006 when he finally started dominating.
Obviously you didn't see the offense foul on Yao when he shot the jumper in Golden States game the other night.
lol.. you know what is really hilarious.. every time there is a foul involving bonzi.. he starts going ahead like the foul is on the other guy...in the offensive foul against rashard, b4 the foul was called, he started walking the other way.. b4 that foul on foyle, he walked to the ball to take it out...
There was also a phantom foul on Scola earlier in the game where Scola did not even remotely touch anyone AND had the ball. Someone should compile all the bad calls from this game.
