less is proving to be more with our team...francis out with an injury or agreement with the team to stay away, snyder not with the team has led to better role definition and team spirit...you could see the bench alive last night. great job by adelman of keeping steve and snyder away from the team to get the chemistry right. adelman is pushing all the right buttons right now and deserves major props!

oh yeah mos. def. .. it was all Snyder's and Francis's fault, they were very disruptive.. they were trying to take the position of Mr. MVP best shooter best entry passer in the world Luther Head!! oh NO'EZ, NO GOODZ 4 OUR K3M3STRY!!

I guess Moral victories are great after all, hey, the chemistry is working!! we have 2 straight losses errhghh, I mean, m-victories..

What? Steve and Deke were the two Rockets that always cheered and supported their teammates. In fact, they are the two that get up the most to cheer on their fellow guys. Oh yeah, Snyder has always been on the bench and still is on there, warmups and all.

Are you the guy that was complaining about YOFs and ugly, dismissive responses on the board?

Yeah, you were.

I'm confused by the over-the-top positivity... it reminds me of those 65-win predictions before the season began. It seems like you're trying to set the bar too high. We've lost a lot of games... doesn't feel like Adelman's career highlight.

I have been somewhat impressed with the offense since the Denver OT game. Some positive things are happening -- certainly more fun to watch than "T-Mac heat check" night. But honestly, I'm only excited when I see things like Brooks and Scola stepping up, maybe Bonzi. Rafer, Battier, Hayes... you know what you get with those guys. We need new players who can contribute. I can't see this team, as-is, having championship aspirations.

definitely no need to go negative... I don't want to discourage posting either. I like your posts so I've resisted saying anything -- So many new threads just isn't conducive to good conversation on the board.

ok...when everyone said we were so talented and we added an offensive guru i consistently said we should win 55-58 and i stick to that. hollinger predicted us number 1...so i wasnt the only one. why would i set the bar unnecessarily high? but i will start less threads...what should the limit be?

I don't think there's really a number limit, but some of those should just be in the same thread. For example, the response to the Ric Bucher interview thread should just go in that thread. It's all good.

On the wins projection, I was going off the 58-62 wins you saw in early July, plus 2 more then 4 more as the West crumbled a bit. I'm not singling you out on that as I shared the optimism (55 wins) and I certainly wouldn't mind if you are right on this, but seems you're setting the bar too high.

I think a lot of us were guilty of setting the bar too high, I know I was....got to give Jeff credit, he foresaw the struggling long before a lot of us did..

As for the go on with your bad self comment, it was kind of a little joke.....since you have taken over as the thread starter, extreme.

Then what happen every time we loss there is 10 thread talking about the same topic.

So suicide thread the better the most

Go optimistic thread just once in a while.

I really don't think that Kirk is a problem in relationships between players.
He's a nice guy, doesn't take anybody's time on court, and as far as I saw likes to hang out with other players.
Steve is also a good guy, with big ego, not someone who can distrupt chemistry problems for good.
As for Celtics game they were on their feet because they all smelled victory and if they won in some case there would be a high tone on Houston Rockets.
My opinion is that maybe Mike James is one of the guys that distrupts chemistry, also I read somewhere on internet or this board that he has issues with Tracy McGrady.
But, what happens in locker room, stays in locker room.

Personally I think his threads are good, but alot of them can be like assimilated together. Its much better then some of the other threads that are just purely reactionary but some of them dont really generate conversation

Any thread giving Rick Adelman credit for anything this year at this point, is just nonsense.

Let's wait until and if he has the team in the playoff PICTURE before we give him any credit. This is not Portland or Sacremento. He has to help THIS team win.

Improved chemistry? Yes.

Improved chemistry is because of Francis and Snyder away? No.

Improved chemistry is because of benching Mike James? Yes.
Hey, at least Shane Battier dont need to yell at and get screamed back from James effortless and no defense ass anymore.

you know why there's no movement in the offense when T-mac is on the floor?

b/c T-mac doesn't move without the ball. especially when Yao is posting up. t-mac just seems lazy out there. i hardly ever see him make any cuts to the basket. it's all waiting for yao to make his move and pass it back to him so he can take his man off the dribble.

speaking of dribble, t-mac needs to learn how to split the defense when yao sets a pick. every time, to dribble out the the pick, t-mac goes towards half-court instead of toward teh basket like ginobili. that irks me more than anything.

I'm sure denniscd knows way more than most of us do about how the guys really feel about each other... but if I had to guess from watching these guys on TV and reading in the media as to who causes chemistry issues, I would not have guessed Kirk Snyder and Steve Francis.

I mean, maybe they are just vets and hides it well in public... but I don't see either one of them making the "V-Span Face" that tells everybody that they are unhappy.

In any case... I wonder if there is a trade going down involving these two soon. Their contracts are just about the right size to be traded for some sort of reinforcement.
