the wins will follow but exactly how many ... pretty soon we will have to start putting together 6 game winning streaks to have any kind of hope... .500 ball isn't going to cut it

I guess it is my frustration, but I am so tired of moral victories. Why can't we make any clutch plays??? I am not a Luther Head hater but the guy was playing scared out there. He was makin very poor decisions out there. He could not throw a proper entry pass into Yao in the post. He watched that last rebound bounce right in front of him as he stood frozen. It is not his fault but we need everybody to play at the top of their game. And Yao what is with his uncluthness. I am just frustrated. I am just waiting for this team to put together a nice winning streak.

T-Mac please don't come back and start jackin up shot out of the rhythm of the offense! Be a facilitator. when will this end. Damn it we need a leader out there, somebody take charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Let's see:

    15 and 17 = current

    35 and 15 = Rockets finish at 50 and 32
    30 and 20 = Rockets finish at 45 and 37
    25 and 25 = Rockets finish at 40 and 42

How many victories to be an 8th seed?

I dont know if Head was playing scared or not. But Head has been playing like this since his rookie season. So I guess Head is always scare.

Coolstandings.com projects 47. ESPN's Hollinger projects 46. In either case, we need to get about 31 or 32 wins in the next 50 which seems possible though unlikely.

Yeah, we have a incredible record of winning two games this season when McLovin is out. You don't know basketball if you think the Rockets are better without him. Last night was a perfect situation where we really need McLovin. We could have used another play maker out there to take the pressure off Yao. Big Yao is a great player, but he is not a #1 guy like a KG or a Kobe Bryant.

Oh yeah, so how many moral victories do we need to make the playoffs and win a championship? Exactly.

Clearly, he is referring to Chuck Hayes and/or Rafer Alston

Moral victories are for teams that didn't make the playoffs the season before and don't expect to be in the playoffs this season.

This team which was the #4 seed in the West last season only *supposedly* got better this season. So I don't want to hear this bull**** line of moral victories - save that for perennial losers like Rice football and Vanderbilt football not the Houston Rockets.

Don't hate on Adelman. He may be leading us to the best moral victory record in Rocket's history :p

Speaking of moral victories, after last night we are no longer the only team in the league that only has 2 players averaging double digits in scoring. Both Bonzi and Rafer are at 10 ppg now.

Boston needed a buzzer beater to beat Charlotte earlier this year. I suppose that was a "moral victory" for the Bobcats as well?

Yes,Charlotte and the rest of our lottery buddies are our closest rivals in the moral victory sweepstakes. I feel that we will seize the moral high ground though at some point, it is the adelman way.

It'd be nice to turn these moral victories in to the real thing some point soon. If you keep coming up short, it gets harder and harder to stay positive.

I'm glad the schedule softens for the next week and a half or so, but we absolutely have to take advantage of it.

No offense, maybe with defence, when Mcloving has 3-16 FG, we have already lost in 3rd quarter :D

A moral victory? Or did BOS get so far ahead they just turned off the engine and had trouble re-starting it? My money is on the latter. But if you prefer the former, just don't lose sight of the fact a significant (maybe all) of it was done with Wells, Scola and Brooks on the court.
