    And from his old teammates

Unlike a couple so-called Rockets fans in this forum, Yao's opponents, who actually played against the big fella on the court, apparently have a good word to say for their counterpart.

Yao must realize that he really has gained respects from his opponents hence they will always give their best endeavour every time he played on the court. Shaq played his best game of the season so far when the Heats met Rockets. Yao is no scrub in their eyes and he has no room for slacking on the court.

We all know how good Yao could be but he has never get back to that level again after the injury. Yao should learn from KG tonight, i.e. accept the challenges and lift up his game. Play with confidence and carry the Rockets to the playoffs.

    GO YAO!!! 姚明加油!!!

I agree. Last season pre-injury; Yao was dominating the opposition with ease. The only problems being stamina and turnovers. Now the stamina issue is solved unfortunately he is no longer put in a comfortable position on offense.

His shooting % is way down. Its not his fault, he is struggling to adapt. But there is no reason you tell such a dominating force to do something they aren't comfortable with. It would be like the Steelers trading for Randy Moss assuming he will block as Hines Ward does. It doesn't make sense, its a waste... But that doesn't mean Moss isn't a great receiver.

I'll call KG "the greatest player ever plays the game" if KG loses the game to us. No big deal. It just make yourself look better.

i have no negativity towards yao. noone can play any better if they are swarmed with defenders the way yao is. i just don't understand why the coach wants to force it when it is not working.

F***!!!! just watch the damn game and support him while he is still with Houston!!! Yao should have gone to somewhere else if he knew fans in Houston are dumb asses.... damn shameful!!!

I do like Garnet. He is such a gifted athlete, but I like Yao more. Why? He is playing for Houston. His determination, diligence, and personality is all worth being credited.

Beyong that, I like the harmony and energy which our team is showing to me. It reminds of me that basketball is a team work and takes five people to play a ball. The moving ball is just like a spirit shift connecting five people in a line. That is the joy i am having with my team right now. so I ll be supportive!

    Go Rox!

Yao is the best in the league at things:
    Shooting free throws being 7'6"
    Fouling
    Growing some ugly chin hair
    Turning the ball over

That's about all I can think of. No one ever said Yao is bad, they just said the team is not going anywhere with him. Last night the team came back with him on the bench and all our quick scrubs in. He goes back in and gets b*tched all over the court. Wayy too many flaws to win a championship if our offense goes through him.

Then why would you want us just chucking the ball into the turnover black hole? Why don't we just yet Yao get O rebounds or passes right by the bucket. Posting him up is way too risky.
