I always catch a little on my way to work when he is on, but my drive is short and I don't get it all. I will recap what I heard: • Trading TMac is not a good idea. You will not get equal value in return. Just look at the KG trade. • Looking back, Brooks should have maybe played more against the Warriors. Coach wanted a veteran in there as common practice. Was worried about match up. • Yao could have a big game tonight. Celtics actually have trouble defending inside. Chuck doesn't do well against KG though.
Yao need to have at least one month off that he did not get in summer to get over his psychological and physical fatigue.
KG will help limit Yao. He's one of the best post defenders in the league. Has any big gone off on the Celtics yet?
KG is a great defender, but he's too light and too small to defend Yao,He isn't a front defender and if he is on Yao one on one on the same island,Yao will go to work on him tough.
Pistons... and the Pistons beat them (though I think they may have already played one another twice.. in which case they split) Edit.. misread the question... sorry. Exactly how many other good "bigs" are there? LOL But someone above me posted Dwight, but that's the only one I know of.
So, he didn't answer the question saying the team has no desire to trade McGrady, he said that he would not trade him because the team would not receive equal value? Interesting, but we will see. I'm not completely sure what they best move for the team is right now, but it will work it's way out eventually. Either the team will get better with McGrady or the organization will have to trade him. It's really simple. The waiting part will be hardest.
haven't seen the clippers this year.. wouldn't know if the contracts match or not.. but if Elton Brand is still producing 20 and 10.. that is a pretty darn fair trade.. I wonder if Morey would change his "not a good idea to trade T-mac"stance if that deal were possible and offered..
Well, at least we may get someone who will actually be on the court. And then run on the court when hes on it...
Fixed. The man is still out with a ruptured Achilles injury. I'd like to see how he comes back from it before I even consider trading T-Mac for him. Brand, though, was a freakin' beast before he got hurt.
Clipps would'nt give up Brand. Cassell,Maggette and Thomas for She-Mac would make more sense on both fronts the $ even works out. The Clips could pair She-Mac up with Brand and still have some tallent left while we would get a veteran pg with an expiring contract in Cassell. Magette who is a good scorer, can draw fouls and hit the perimeter shot. And Thomas who at the 4 can stretch the defense with his 3 point shooting. I wish!!
No way Sterling would take Mike's contract. Trading McGrady and Bonzi for Maggette and Brand would work better. McGrady would be perfect for the Clippers - a passionless star for a passionless franchise. IMO: Maggette is the kind of player everyone thought Bonzi would be.
