    hello my fellow Rockets fans,

    after posting a few times in a different thread

    i got an idea to do something at the club i dj at. i dj at DECO on wednesday nights and after talking to some of you, i thought, why don't i see if i can make the place somewhere rockets fans would like to be on wednesday nights? i been a die-hard rockets fan since the 80s, and since we all have the common bond of being rockets fans, why not create another place for some of us to congregate at? for instance, through this forum you guys can let me know what kinda stuff you all would like to hear, and i'll try to work it in. right now on wednesdays, we play a good mix of retro, house, hip hop, dance, etc.. the retro is mostly club hits and some rock from the 80s and 90s. the hip hop is mostly from hip hop's golden era (90s-early 00s). of course we mix in some of the new stuff also, but not as much as we would for say, a really young crowd, because we found that the stuff we have been playing is what the young professionals want to hear. so whatever you want to hear, i'm sure we either already play or have. i spoke to the owner about my idea and he's cool with it. everyone gets in with no cover and he's gonna give really good drink prices. if you’ve never been there, Deco is a lounge/club in midtown with a nice, classy ambiance and good looking female bartendars working there. :) anyways, I just wanted to open this up to all my fellow Rockets fans. Feel free to bring as many friends as you want, and don’t forget to let me know what you would like to hear. hope to see you all there!

    lol it's not predominantly asian like it is on saturdays. it's a really chill, young professional crowd of all races on wednesdays.

    deco usually rocks.

    However we did go on one Friday where they played zero hip hop, they then had a lady get on stage and sing for about an hour. that was not cool to experience.

    I am glad you are picking awesome music.

    That place is bumpin on Sunday nights. The thick blonde bartender with the large chest is very nice to look at.

    i dropped by last night for "whipped cream sundaes". it's the sunday promotion at deco. i don't dj at it, so i went just to hang out. it was pretty crazy. hot gogo dancers and bartendars. barfo10 - the blonde bartendar you were talking about was there, looking good as ever. ;) that's pretty much about all i remember from last night. haha
