LOL - you are the KING of putting words in other people's mouths.

I have said I think Adelman deserves a CHANCE.....to show what he can do, but is he the answer.....who knows?

As for the rest, adding one cancerous player can RUIN team chemistry....I can tell you have never been in a leadership position, you just don't get it.

    :D
this pithy series of platitudes is coming from the same dork who was falling all over himself making excuses and playing defense for malcontents and douchebags like Bonzi Wells (fat, out of shape, did not care, quit on the team) and guys like the Greek b**** who shall remain nameless, who whined his way through an entire season and then out of the NBA.

Of course the DaDakota of last year saw them as rallying causes, not bad apples, simply poor unjustly accused victims.

I guess DaDakota didn't care about chemistry back then. I wonder why. Oh yes, because it wasn't convenient for him to do so.

DaDakota should stop responding. He contradicts himself with every post.

I posted last year that Bonzi didn't fit, but nice try........assigning BS arguments to people to make yourself look good. Always making BS assumptions and saying "remember when you said xxxxx" of course most of the time that person NEVER said it.

Of course it was all Bonzi's fault, none of it on your man crush JVG...newsflash - it takes two to tango.

Sam, I am on to you, you are an internet tough guy and a real life coward.

Afraid to take a risk but always ready to bash those that do......stay at the back of the class where you belong, and leave the leading to those who are not afraid to do so......

brooks has stepped in well and has been productive. however, i don't know how big of a set you have to have to give him a chance when you lose 14 of 21.

There are also other factors even more important than brooks' play...like getting yao the ball more in the low post and early in sets, scolas production, battier being more aggressive offensively, etc.

there are still significant problems though and beating 1 bad team and one struggling team coming off a back to back hasnt fixed them all just yet.

    Till then, keep ballin brooks.

It is really funny that DD thinks making silly declarations on a basketball BBS as significant of some sort of machismo That is pretty much the definintion of the internet tough guy.

If DD wants my opinion on the Rockets, or any other topic, there is a search function, and I have 20k posts, so....

hey dd - everyone on this board likes you. sam's a smart guy but i think he likes to irk certain ppl for whatever reason.

anywho - i do hope and think the rox are on to something. if they can be a 500+ club without tmac - that would be a huge step considering their record without him the past couple of years. yeahyeahyeah i suppose that makes me a chinese YOF but wtf i am.

This one was. It went out and surrendered in the third quarter in Toronto, and then the game right after in Philadelphia. Bill Worrell said during the Toronto game that it was the first time he had ever see a Rockets team quit. I thought that he actually sounded disgusted when he said it.

Sure, this is guesswork because I'm not privy to everything that's going on inside the locker room. But when you have a bunch of professionals like Battier/Scola/Hayes and they collapse in the face of pressure I'm going to guess it's due to bad chemistry. The individual parts don't add up to the whole--not even close.

Possible that they showcased him for a trade?

Uh, JVG had Novak in the rotation in the season opener last year, he was the first man off the bench.

Adelman left him on the pine till game 31. Come again?

Odd, I wondered that - or if Hayes might be bait and, therefore, SN#20 was given some court time???

jvg even started novak last year in a game last year, he played in 35 games

this looks like either desperation or showcasing for a trade
