Houston Rockets guard Steve Francis was diagnosed with bi-lateral quadricep tendinitis Monday and will be out indefinitely.

Francis, who has already been sidelined since December 20 with the flu, will not accompany the team on its upcoming road trip so he can begin rehabilitation.

Francis is averaging just 5.5 points and 3.0 assists in 10 games this season.

lol, i think i missed the part about this being a career ending injury? I guess the "indefinitely" part is whats doing it. All that means is there is no time table for his return.

Steve, it's not your fault, you heard me, it's not your fault, try and think positive, don't worry too much, you'll be fine

That is exactly the problem with Steve. Too many people have been whispering in his ear telling him its not his fault. The guy seems to take very little accountability for his own actions. What a waste of a potentially great career.

No, he should be held accountable for not improving his game one iota since he came into the league, despite being treated and paid like a franchise player. Then maybe some teams would actually want him.

    Shouldn't this be locked anyway
