Ahh sorry my bad, I was meant to say Harrington lol.
Yea its not hard to contest when you are already there.
But the Warriors are just faster than the Rockets, we simply cant keep up with them.

IMO Yao wasn't fighting for deep position. Too many times he's getting the ball 18ft away from the rim against a midget resulting in a quick and hard double team the moment he puts the ball down. He needs to bully his way inside and guys need to learn to hit him as soon as he gets the position.

He did. Many times he sealed the defender behind him and waited for a lob pass.
Unfortunately no one can make the pass to him --- it doesnt matter he can jump or not, hes 7'6 and he will be able to catch the lob, if you dont pass thats 100% chance he wont catch it.

I was not really happy with that as well. Seems he is sill struggling with the severe flu. IMO, it is more effective that he was albe to move from one weak side to the other when he got hacked or fronted. He tried not that much :( ...

Don't expect to say this often about a Don Nelson-coached team but the Warriors played good defense. They just continuosly hassled the Rockets.

Bonzi sits out a good chunk of the third and fourth I believe after getting hit on the noggin. He didn't have the same aggressiveness and energy when he came back in with the rest of the starters in the fourth. Without him taking the ball to the basket and Yao basically taken out of the game by the defense, there was little chance to win.

Pretty good three quarters before that, though.

Rick Adelman had a brain fart in the 2nd half.

T-Mac said that he was doubtful for the match vs Boston. It s not sure that he wont be playing. Still hopes.

Looks like Vlade Divac with long hair. I don't think these were the changes we were expecting with Adelman.

u r unreal. Nellie has been with GS since last season. Since the Warriors got Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson at trade deadline last season, the Warriors have gone Nellie ball in full force. Before that, the Warriors played Adoal Foyle on Yao. Yao looks like a scrub since Al Harrington is on him.

Its just a fluke lost to the warriors who got real hot at the 3p line.
Most of the 3p are contested. But its clear that we need better defenders on the team.

AB did not play as he was just too small to guard Baron Davis
Novak finally showoff that shooting skill of his that we are all talking about LAST season.
Bonzi was just bad in the 4th quarter. 3 turnovers, 1 miss layup and that bad defensive rotation.
Head should not be there at the final quarter, his cold for the night and you put him on to get 3p?
Yao was working too hard at the first 3 quarters. I thought he would pass out the few times the camera close-up on his face. He is just panting and struggling for breath.
i do not really see how Mr 20m can make a difference in this game. The GS would be running round him, and and any extra points he can get for the rox, he will lose it by not make an effort to play defense. Unless of course his in the "zone" which rarely happens.

Bad matchup defensively when Brooks was in there and more importantly Rafer was playing well, leading the team in scoring for the game. Alston basicly outplayed Baron Davis considering Rafer had 22 points on 8-17 shooting, and 5 assists with no turn overs.

In comparison Davis scored 23 on 8-23 shooting with 7 assists and 7 turn overs.

Unfortunately the rest of the Rockets combined for 23 turn overs and once again we had trouble getting Yao the ball against GS and he had 4 turn overs on the touches he did get. Yao didn't have a bad game, but he is just too easy to deny the ball to vs quick teams that front him to dominate in those match ups.
