Movie Pet Peeves...

My favorite is when Jeff Goldblum uploads the virus to the mothership in ID4. They don't even try to explain how this is possible.

 

I hate how every new movie seemingly has to have Paul Giamatti in it now.

 

haha...yea i always think about that.....the alien spaceship must have serial ports, usb , firewire , infrared or bluetooth ....or maybe it has wifi, or a LAN cable and the aliens use IP routing ...lol

 

One thing I hate about hollywood, is how no one has money problems, unless the movie is about poor people. Everyone is a writer or a lawyer. These are also true about television.

 

Lawyer glorification irritates me as well.

But why would they have to speak in Russian accents if they weren't going to speak in Russian?

 

Ha! Opinions vary...especially my wife's on an hourly basis.

because russian accents are cool plus it would be silly if they spoke with american accents.

 

I thought everyone knew that Alien Motherships use a Windows OS.

 

Not any sillier than them speaking English with Russian accents.

 

When a perfectly good comedy is funny for the first hour, and then just goes straight to **** when the dumb plot has to unfold.

 

I think he used a mac. Back in 96 they didn't even have wifi or bluetooth. However it was a good movie.

 

then how could you tell whose who throughout the movie? it could get confusing.

 

i always take note of how people clothes are off a little or their hair is parted one way or a little messed up in one scene and then BAM, the next scene, it's all fixed like they just got out of the dressing mirror. i always seem to be the one that notices them and it distracts me from the movie. but i'm not a real big movie watcher so maybe that's why i notice those minute details.

 

The translator is a Russian who learned English. Duh!

The aliens would've won if it wasn't for Vista.

 

- I hate how Mulder and Scully always comes close to hooking up but not really.

- Every Disney movie always has a stupid song. They should've stopped it after the Lion King and Aladdin.

- Bollywood movies.

- Harry should've hooked up with Hermione instead.

- Villains in kid movies are always clumsy.

- Movies that are advertised as something else (Almost half of M. Night's Shyamalamalanalm's movies).

- Why are all super hero action flicks set in NY?
