    h. If Matt Schaub's any good, Houston's going to win 10 games next year and be the second wild-card team. You read it here first

This is strait from his Monday morning quaterback column. I think he is just about right on the money!

Is there a link to it?

I predict either a 10-6 season, or an 11-5. (ofcourse, I'm making this prediction on less than 10 injuries)

Peter King is a great sports columnist, but his constant praise of all things boston is really annoying. Write about something else already you fat schmuck.

If they don't have so many key injuries, they would have been a playoff team this season.

That's probably going to require all 4 teams in the AFC South to make the playoffs. Unlikely...

Good to see these kinds of predictions before the draft and free agency has even begun.

Like calling Mario a bust before anyone from the 2006 Draft had even played a snap!

    I really want these guy's jobs. :)

what makes the nfl exciting is the same thing that makes it scary, at least for a fan. one year you're 12-4 and the next you're 7-9. In the NFL, predictions are worthless. However, the texans are building their team to dominate =0)
where is the 2006 nfl draft appreciation thread?

I'm most excited about Okoye next season. If he translates to year 2 anywhere close to the way Mario did, this defense is gonna be a lot of fun to watch!

Just because the Texans finished 8-8 this year, doesn't mean they will win more games next year based on they might be healthier.

If this team has the same core for next year and only adds a couple rookies from the draft and also some regular role players from free agency, I don't think this team will break 9 or 10 wins. And 8-8 again won't be good enough for the playoffs in the AFC ever.

No, but it shows progress, and that should help attract free agents.

It's still early to do any kind of prediction I guess, have to wait to see what happens in the offseason first. But after seeing next years schedule, it's going to be brutal.

Texans have been pretty good at drafting and picking up free agents. I assume they will have another good offseason.
