You can not be serious. We are not winning, but it don't think he would ask for a trade because of that. Where would he go where he would have a better team? It doesn't make sense to me. Secondly, any trade Chicago would offer would not be worth it. Hinrich is having the worst season of his career so far. Now that I think about it, most of the players on Chicago are, but Hinrich especially. Hinrich + Nocioni? Gordon + Hinrich? Hinrich + Gordon (both are what 6'2)? Gordon + Nocioni? Come on, we lose with that trade. We give up the best player and get a minimum return. We would only be helping Chicago with any of those packages. The only way I would do a trade with Chicago would be in a trade involving Deng + Gordon/Hinrich. However, after their refusal to complete a similar trade with LA for Kobe, it's doubtful. I do want to trade McGrady at this point, however I don't want to do a trade to do a trade. I also question the credit of this writer. It seems like he is trying to start those questions in order to get McGrady traded to Chicago to me. We will see, though.
LMAO! Sam Smith is also the moron that suggested Ben Gordon & Ben Wallace for T-Mac trade. I should remind him the Rockets kicked the Bulls ass hard when T-Mac played - as always. The Rockets had 7 players in double digits in that game - an easy 116 pts.
Peter Vescey has more reliable sources than Sam Smith around the League. Smith's sources are limited to the Bulls. Other stuffs he writes are most his own speculations with news around the League. To be honest, I give a damn to what Peter Vescey writes, but not Sam Smith.
Alright, I get it. he is not happy in Houston... Anyway, this might be a rumor! Dont really want to believe that.
If he really wants out, he should be out there ballin his ass off instead of milking an injury. He's really hurting his trade value by not auditioning himself, unless he's trying to screw over the Rockets at the same time. My guess is that this is unsubstantiated, but it's probably more true than people would like to think.
The only way I would sign off on that deal is if Chicago gives us their unconditional 2008 first and second round draft choices.
jesus there is so much crap on the internet. that sam smith article leads to this at hoops hy pe . com http://www.hoops hype.com/rumors.htm lol they say the rumor is from the chron but then they have the link to the stupid sam smith story. what a bunch of fools.
We won't get fair value in the market so T-mac is staying in Houston. Just an idea, I'm thinking T-mac could play the super sub role that Manu does for SA. He will still get 35+ minutes a night easy but he should be able to torch the 2nd unit easy.
LOL Chicago is in panic mode!! Are we really supposed to believe that McGrady, who has made a career of airing out of all of his problems/feelings with the media, is "quietly" unhappy here?
i would welcome nocioni and heinrich. we don't need a star in return for mac. we just need good solid players. yao is good enough to lead this team.
that p...y is unhappy when we are winning? that was so sick. I wont be surprised if it is all true...........
A whole lot of false trade rumors can be tracked back to Smith's dreamcasting. That's what he does writes articles based on his fantasy trades.
Tell me where to sign!! Neither player is nearly as talented as Mac, but both are tough as nails, know how to move the ball, play great defense, rebound, and can score when called upon. Plus, these guys are PERFECT for the RA system. They will enhance our motion offense, and vastly improve our defense. Hinrich is not shooting the ball that well this season, but he'll turn it around. I would do this in a heartbeat!
