I feel you man!!!! Being a Titan fan can be so painful at times and as Madden and Michaels were discussing at the end of the game. The Titans usually keep the games close grinding it out till the end. I am just so pumped that we are in the playoffs!!! I think we have a good chance of beating the Chargers. It will not be easy as LT always owns us (as he does for the majority of the league). But I would just love the thought of playing the Patriots in the second round. It could turn out to be a huge beating but than again you never know... But back to reality. One game at a time....

I dont think that the Titans go deep in the playoffs, if they can beat San Diego, (I dont think that will happen) they cant beat NE or Indy. Look what the Colts did on the first three series: Reggie Wayne had 12 receptions.
The Titans can do damage in the playoffs because they have a bone-jarring defense, a great head coach, an awesome kicker and a solid running game. They will keep any game close. Hating the Titans comes down to Bud Adams, Albert Haynesworth and Vince Young's douchebag fans. The team, itself, is admirable.
I'll be there in person to watch the Titans go down in flames in the first round and I'll love every minute of it. But for real ... they've been pretty impressive and are a very physical team that can cause some problems for just about anyone.

honestly, i don't remember rooting for the Titans to lose so bad since the Super Bowl. i love Jeff Fisher and it would be great for him to win COY. but i wholeheartedly agree with your post.

VY didn't play "OK" (14-18, 157 in the air; 4-19 on the ground in a little over half of games work against most of the 1st team Indy defense). He also lead his team to what should have been 10-14 points (-butter fingers running backs) against the 1st team Indy defense, and kept his team in position to win. Now Collins came in and played very well as well. But that doesn't take anything away from VY's contributions against Indy's 1st teamers if you don't think he looked excellent passing you were not watching or are blind. Good for the Titans, a very young team with the best cap number in the league. I don't expect them to beat a fresh, physical and hot San Diego, but they have to be thrilled with their progress. If you are a fan of one of the 20 teams not in the playoffs, you really have no ammuniztion of ***** to talk with.
