You guys think the Pistons would do this trade: TMac and MJ for Rip, Affalo, filler, and 1st Round pick?? I think Rip would be a good fit for the new system because he is a efficient scorer/shooter who doesn't need the ball a long time to do what he does. He's not too good at creating his own shot but he never stops moving and would create a lot more motion for RA's offense.
I'm bored...... Houston: -Mike James -Dikembe Mutombo -2nd Rounder Atlanta: -Josh Childress -Shelden Williams Houston gets versatility. Childress seems to fit well with Adelman's style of play. Can both start or be a spark off the bench at the 2 or 3 spot. Cuts well, decent outside shooter, decent defense, good finisher. Shelden would fortify our front court and play considerable minutes at the 4 or 5. Atlanta gets a PG who can split major minutes with Anthony Johnson or even start. Provides veteran leadership to a young ball club and a long range threat which they lack. Mutombo returns to the hawks and fills another void in a defensive center. -------- Houston: -Kirk Snyder Protected 1st Seattle -Delonte West -2nd Rounder Houston gets a PG who's capable of just about anything and has great potential to be a starter in Adelman's system. Has a great shooting touch, good decision making, good passing, very good help defense. Seattle gets an untapped young talent to grow along with their movement. Will take minutes away from Damien Wilkens but allow Durant and Green to play other positions and different rotations. -------- Houston -Kirk Snyder -Steve Novak Chicago -Chris Duhon -2nd Rounder Houston gets another potential starting PG candidate. A player/coach type in the mold of Shane Battier. Very good outside shooting, very good defense, good passing, good movement without the ball, and good decision making. A very good fit for Adelman's passing scheme. Chicago gets a big young 2 guard that they have been lacking and an outside shooting threat. -------- These won't happen, but just did them for fun ------- Houston: -Tmac -2008 & 2009 First Rounders Milwaukee -Michael Redd -Charlie Villanueva -------- Houston: -Tmac -Luther Head -Mutombo Phoenix -Shawn Marion -Raja Bell --------- Houston: -Tmac -Chuck Hayes -1st Rounder -2nd Rounder Sacramento -Mike Bibby -Ron Artest --------- Houston: -Tmac -Bonzi -Louis Scola -Skip 2008 & 2009 First Rounder Lakers -Kobe -Radmanovic -Jack Nicholson Lakers gets a star back to fill the void of kobe and to keep some fans in their seats. Tmac will fit well in the triangle offense and he will be in his comfort zone with the offense flowing through him a la orlando magic. Houston gets a Yao and Kobe Tandem and an outside shooter in Radman when either is double teamed. Houston also gets a tandem of the red rowdies and a-lister Jack Nicholson which will provide much needed energy which in turn will keep clutch the bear a happy bear.
I'm just desperate to get more athletic. That's why I keep harping on acquiring Gerald Green. However, if we could trade Luther Head or Kirk Snyder or Carl Landry or Steve Novak or any combination thereof for Gerald Green (Minny), Marco Bellini (Golden State), C.J. Miles (Utah), Shawn Williams (Indiana); or even Boki Nachbar (Nets), I'd do it without looking back.

i think we need to trade somebody for MIKE MILLER...his shooting touch is what we are missing on this team....you leave him open he make the open shots...he release his shots fast,, i think he's a great compliment to Tmac and Yao
Successful Trade Scenario Congratulations on a successful trade. Due to Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. I would love to trade to get Miller also, especially if we can keep Tracy. But if they are willing to do this trade, I think it would be easier to get them to do this one, which would be more preferrable IMO: Memphis Grizzlies Incoming Players Steve Novak Salary: $687,456 Years Remaining: 1 Shane Battier Salary: $5,883,600 Years Remaining: 4 PTS: 8.7 REB: 4.8 AST: 1.6 PER: 10.64 Luther Head Salary: $1,122,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 6.2 REB: 1.6 AST: 1.5 PER: 12.87 Outgoing Players: Mike Miller Houston Rockets Incoming Players Mike Miller Salary: $8,376,194 Years Remaining: 3 PTS: 16.0 REB: 7.0 AST: 3.9 PER: 15.71 Outgoing Players: Steve Novak, Shane Battier, Luther Head Memphis loves Shane, and they would be getting two outside shooter back since they are giving up a very good one. We could stick in Miller at the two and move Tracy back to his rightful position as a 3. Miller would be a much better weapon for Tmac to kick out to than Battier or Head. I think Bonzi will be our ace in the hole come playoff time....wouldn't want to give him up unless we are getting a 20 pt plus star.
I would trade Snyder and Alston for Cassell in a heartbeat and maybe the Clips might consider it as well. Also, I like blastaway's trade proposal of Head, Novak, and Battier for Mike Miller, but I doubt Memphis will do this.
Mike James and Snyder for Andres Nocioni I know he just signed a new contract, 38 mil in 5 years and an option y 6. His been a little bit hurt lately and his production have drop a good time to trade for him because maybe his team is a bit disappointed and want to change his long contract for two expiring one. I know Houston have 3 SF in Battier, T-Mac and Bonzi the last two play the 2 but you want to use lutter as a SG what move Bonzi or T-Mac to the 3 many times. But once we got him we can trade either Rafer and Battier for a good PG or Rafer and Nocioni for a good PG or keep him as a back up plan in case Bonzi don't want to resign with Houston next year, or Just because T-Mac is missing a lot he could be a good addition. I don't think Chicago will trade him like that, i think if they trade him in a package to get a Gasol type of player. And I don't know once you sign for a new contract how long they have to wait before he is able to be moved. Just a thought, not that we need him but to have Mjames and Snyder seating on the bench just get some player that can help.
How about McGrady for O'Neal Hey Guys, Im just playing the what if game like everybody else. Soooo, do y'all think that a McGrady and Francis deal in exchange for Jermaine O'Neal and Kareem Rush deal would be realistic? Actually, anything is possible in the NBA, trade wise. I think this would be a pretty fair trade though. However, McGrady is injured now as well as Francis I believe. I don't know. Im stationed up here at Malmstrom AFB, Montana and do not have the opportunity to watch many of my home team's games much anymore. However, Im leaving the USAF in 10months so that means more Rockets games!!! Happy New Year!
I don't know... hayes and scola really aren't that bad at PF and O'neal doesn't provide as much as T-mac on the offensive end, but he'll block those shots for ya. Hes not that great of a leader either.
O' Neal would block up the paint too much, his game is somewhat like Yao's. Plus, I wouldn't trade Tmac for another injury prone player on the downside of his career.
Wonder if there's any chance to get Shaun Livingston when he's health from the Clips, or if he goes into free agency.
