... in three out of four games on this road trip.

Denver was a heart breaker, but we really executed a perfect gameplan that night. We also showed that there is no diminishing spirit in this team despite the slower-than-expected start.

Detroit... no real excuses. We got outplayed, but that team is tough as balls on their home floor, and they were pissed, too.

Not making any predictions... just sayin'. Something to consider when you're about to go on another one of your "what have you done for me lately" rants.

Yeah we got the W. Good win! Now we need to duplicate this effort about 8-10 times in a row for me to be convinced that this game is not an aberration which up to this point of the season efforts like this have. We need consistency people!

On a side note, Scola is starting to show what I thought by midseason could happen. I'll still think he could and should be starting as our PF by mid month January. Good effort by Scola tonight! Looks like we shared the basketball well tonight. :D

The Detroit game was the 4th in 5 nights against a team looking for revenge; best team in the East probably.

The team has looked better without T-Slac, no question, outside of the first 6 games or so. Keep up the level of play and win a few more games while he's out and it will be crystal clear to everyone where the problem lies.

Heh, ok, now that much is certainly not true. This team still very much needs McGrady. If the past three seasons and the first few McGradyless games this season have not taught you that, then you're a lost cause. Regardless of what you think of his work ethic, this team is not going anywhere without McGrady...

Wait, the team has looked much better without him in terms of ball movement and scoring. They won't go anywhere without him, but they haven't been anywhere with him. If they could get something in return for him they'd be better off.

There is nobody in the NBA that we can realistically trade McGrady for that would make us a better team.

McGrady is not where our problem lies. He may not be helping us as much as he *could* if he gave us all he had, but he is certainly not hurting us.

True but for some reason the guys on this team are not playing with the same intensity and confidence when McGrady is on the court. Adelman needs to earn his paycheck and find a way to get these guys to play the way they did in the last few games WITH McGrady on the court. Do that and the sky is the limit for this squad.

The only thing I'm not sure is "If Tmac "want" to punish someone then he ...."

My solution: Start Tmac at 1st q, and start Yao at 3rd q. Never put both of them on the court. I belive Tmac will play great and hits most of his jumpers.

This guy need pressure. Otherwise he looks lazy and no interesting.

TMac looks lazy, and he seems like everything is in his control (In fact, no). Teammates rely on him...

I don't think it's tracy's fault. I think it's our guys sitting around waiting on him to do something. if they continue to stay moving/aggressive when he returns, we will be a much better team than if we traded him

Tracy has to have a better attitude overall,It isn't just the ball movement and cutting is the attitude that he displays. His attitude needs to be TEAM first.

Yeah, he averages over 5 assists a game. He would probably average 7 or 8 if guys were making shots. I don't know what you are talking about.

There is a difference between having a calm demeanor and not being a team player
