Everyone knew it was going to happen, eventually. But some reason, I still feel surprised it happened.

She's been a main target for a long time.

I used to live in Pakistan until I was 5, then moved to the US.
Have majority of family still living there, and used to visit every other year.

Haven't been in 3 years now, not because of what's going on but mainly because we've been busy.

What's going on these days there is really tragic and unimaginable. It's sad to see my place of birth turn into what it has.

Because we are a hypocrite? We have been this way before the chimp arrives.

We have always sugarcoated our intentions when we do things. We are so good in doing this that the majority of our citizens actually believe in this BS.

Wrong. They really are that dumb. No education at all (other than the Quran). That's what leads them to extremism...

No, which led them to extremism is not lack of education, my bro. It's that they feel they are suppressed by certain forces and they are too weak to fight a "normal" war against them. If America does not recognize this and change its mideast policy(which I seriously doubt), there will always be terrorism. Talk about violence against violence running full cycle.

    Ignorant post.

Blaming the US for Pakistan's mess is the easy way out. The religious fundamentalists thrive on poor people. Why don't Pakistanis in the US behave in the childish manner that they do in Pakistan (riots, killing people, being unruly)? The answer is simple. They have money here and can live their lives....in Pakistan, they can't do that.

That statement is coming from the Interior Minister of the government. He's also saying that the government has evidence that it was AQ that killed her.

Let’s remember that it's in Musharraf’s best interest to deflect any possibility that his government had anything to do with her death. I’m not saying it isn't possible, just saying I'd like to see some verifiable proof. Things are moving pretty fast right now. There’s also reports that Bhutto’s party is demanding an independent inquiry into her death and Musharraf (for now) is resisting those calls.
