ROCKET SEASON IS BASICALLY OVER!!! Seriously this team is like 9-23. Figure it this way Even if the Rockets finish the rest of the year a .600 team(which is seriouly/highly/in reality unlikely), the rockets will finish with 30 more wins and 20 more loses, which accumulates to a record of 39W and 43L. And If you are out here in the west that records just not going to get you into the post season. AND LET'S BE REAL, THE ROCKETS PROBABLY WON'T FINISH THE SEASON A .600 TEAM. So y'all might as well start looking forward to offseason acquisitions and trades as well as the draft. And hopefully next year well be better. I mean if you are a true fan I understand you will think this post is crazy, but **** dat true fan ****, look at what's real, and all of you know the season is over. OK you little f*ckin troll.. first you post that francis isnt legit and now that the season is over.. Obviously you didn't watch last season.. its not over till its over! Steve is going to be back very soon and the Rockets will be able to win some more games. Griffin is now starting to break through and who knows what could happen. While a lot of what you say may be accurate (I dont realistically see them making the playoffs), there is no need to do it in such a r****ded manner. When did it become cool to throw a cuss word in so often. Regardless, watching the Rockets work hard to be a .600 (or better...or worse) team will still be fun, watching Eddie Griffin continue to develope will still be fun, watching Steve return to further dominate the league (and the allstar game) will still be fun, wondering if trades will be made will still be fun, going to the games will still be fun, etc, etc I am supremely confident that this Rockets team was/is a playoff team when completely healthy. I am even MORE confident of that given Griffin's play of late. Next year we can also expect Taylor back, hopefuly a healthy, more comfortable Glen Rice and a draft pick that should help. Despite their "close" wins at the beginning of the season, they were wins, at crunch time for that matter, signs that they were getting back to winning form. No matter what, I always look forward to the next game, next playoffs, next season, etc.

DD, I agree. Its very, very hard for us to even smell the playoffs this year. This team will have to go like 32-19 to even think about making the the playoffs. Its hard to admit because we haven't been basically eliminated from the playoffs this early since Francis rookie yr, but its pretty much true. I think we should trade Thomas and Walt and see if we can get some players in here to help us next year. The Spurs did it when Dave had the jacked up back and wound up with Duncan, by luck. We need players to go along with waht we have. Plain and simple. Why are we the only team in the league that when we make a aquisition, it takes the player more than one yr to get used to our "system"? Players can play in any system. I guess Glen is following Taylor in taking a whole yr getting confortable, but a rookie can tak a few games?
