You have Yao ($14M) & Tmac($18M). You need to build an 8 or 9 man rotation. You cant go over the salary cap ($57M). You can't use rookie contracts. Go!
Where can you find contract information easily? Are you talking about trades ... or just constructing an ideal team under the constraints you've outlined?

Okay for real, this is very tough by the way...... Starters..... PG Leandro Barbosa $5.6 SG McGrady $18 SF Bruce Bowen $4 PF Marcus Camby $8 (or Udonis Haslem $6) C Yao $14 $49.6 (47.6 with Haslem) Bench..... PG Derek Fisher $4.3 SG Damien Wilkins $2.9 SF Travis Outlaw $4 or Luke Walton $4 PF Brandon Bass $770,000 C Amir Johnson $3.6 Pick any three of those players and you're in the ballpark of $57 million. Or....You could go crazy and start a cheap guy like Brandon Bass then spend that $8 on a Ginobili, Artest or Maggette type player.
PG - Michael Jordan SG - Michael Jordan SF - Michael Jordan PF - Michael Jordan C - Michael Jordan Subs: MJ's children...
You have to let me keep the Rocket Rookies we already have... No, he was originally drafted by New Orleans then signed with Dallas this summer. His contract does look like a rookie deal though.
Starters PG: Beno Udrih 561,544 SG: Tracy McGrady 19,014,187 SF: Caron Butler 8,218,990 PF: Drew Gooden 6,400,000 C: Yao Ming 13,762,775 Reserves: F: Travis Outlaw 4,000,000 G: Keith Bogans 2,440,000 C: Chris Mihm 2,200,000 F: Brandon Bass 770,000 G: Maurice Evans 1,740,000 Comes to $56,907,496 That roster should bring in a championship
Assuming we are talking 57 million for a rotation, not for the entire roster, these would be my choice... Yao Ming (14) Ron Artest (7.8) Tracy McGrady (18) Chuck Hayes (1.7) Steve Nash (11.3) Beno Udrih (0.7) Carlos Defino (1.8) Austin Croshere (Vet min, onlly 0.7 counts toward the cap.. rest paid by league) Total: $56.0 million. This lineup should have plenty of firepower. Now if we have the luxury tax limit (about $68 million) to work with for the entire roster... I'd be adding Battier (5.9), Duhon(3.2), Udoka (1.0), Malik Allen (vet min, 0nly 0.7 counts), Pollard (vet min, 0nly 0.7 counts). That's 13 guys for under the $68 million. Edit: I win. None of the lineups above as as good as mine. Nobody can stop a combo of Yao, McGrady, Nash, and Artest. And I didn't even have to cheat with rookie contracts like Chris Paul or Luther Head.
