there's always a different approach that i think would be risky, but exciting. starters play the first 18 minutes of the game. The second rotation comes in with 6 min left in second and start and finish the third. Starters all back in for the fourth. If we can succeed with this, nobody would exceed 30 min per night and then everyone would have energy for the playoffs, where the best players will get atleast 40 minutes per. Starters Francis McGrady Battier Hayes Yao Bench Brooks Head Snyder Bonzi Scola
Do you mean outside shoots or only 3 pt shots? Outside shoots are consider 10-18 feet, if we aren't counting 3 pt shots. With that starting lineup, not only AB, but Tmac shoots most of his shots from 15 feet plus Bonzi is sufficient at 10-15 feet consistently, he just needs to cut the 3's Scola is good from 10 to 15 feet as well, maybe even 18 ft Yao has proven that he can hit up to 18 feet consistently as well. So while maybe only Brooks and Tmac should be taking 3's with this starting lineup...that's a good thing if you want to run Adelman's offense because it is designed to get more shoots closer in..not from the 3 pt line; that's JVG's old offense. If the offense is in motion and Yao, Scola and Bonzi are all moving without the ball, setting picks and screens....then the paint won't be clogged. But what we will do is control the offensive and defensive boards because all three of them are dedicated to rebounding. Yet unlike with Hayes and Battier starting, they are not limited to only a 3 pt shot for Battier or an occasionaly layup by Chuck. With this starting lineup, Brooks and Head can still play together if Bonzi or Tmac sit down in a reasonable time to rest instead of playing the hole first quarter and half the second before Rick I don't know what Im doing Adelman decides to give them a breather. Brooks is younger and can play longer minutes being a small point guard with a lot of energy. But
