What the hell is wrong with Yao's hand? Why does it get strip so easily? Why does the ball always bounce off his hand after a rebound? What is he thinking when the ball bounce to him?Seriously, he is the tallest guy on the court but every time the ball comes his way, he will either swap it away to the other team or get stripped. This happens like 5 times a game! He would average 12-13 rebounds a game had he hold on to the damn ball. This pisses me so much more then any of his other short coming b/c it leads to turn-over, basically giving 3 extra possession for the other team a game. How can he fix this problem? More tennis ball practice? Add more upper body strenght? He will never become great until he fixes this flaws b/c its always a factor when it comes to crucial times during the game.

If Yao has bad hands, then what does it say about D. Howard when he is averaging 3.6 while Yao is at 3.3.

Both of these guys are SCRUBS. Let's go get K Thomas for both of these guys for Kurt Thomas, he only averages .8 TOs.

It doesnt matter how tall Yao is. He can not jump like other big men, so even though they are 8 inches shorter then him, they jump higher and faster then Yao which negates his height. Just look at how often Yao loses the tip.

What are you talking about? Most of his TOs are bad passes, 3 second violations, offensive fouls, travling etc. I don't think he gets stripped so often this year.

Did you know Yao Ming was offered a hand-modeling job back in China, but he turned it down because of a conflict of schedules with the NBA.

So in fact, he doesn't have the worst hands in basketball.

Did you just see Brooks give Mutumbo a perfect pass that went right through his hands? Mutumbo has way worse hands.

Anyone who says yao has bad hands for a big man obviously has no idea what it means to have bad hands.

Yao was supposed to have shoulder surgery in the off season but held off, it could be a reason for his lack luster performace......

It's not his hands. He sometimes doesnt go for it strong and once it's down, it's hard for him to get it. Yao's hands at this point dont deserve a biatching thread I think.

He has smaller hands and shorter wing span and cannot jump as high as other big man.

mutumbo has great hands for a big man. you dont become one of the greatest rebounders in the league without having great hands. his hands are like glue when he snatches the ball off the rim.
