    My wife just emailed me to tell me our friend text messaged her that she will be singing her solo tonight, despite the fact the Houston choir already lost!! Woo hoo!! :) I'm so excited for her!

    :) I wondered when they started singing last night if that was your friend singing the solo! Glad that she still will get the opportunity tonight... I will be watching too!

    apparently the show was more popular than they anticipated. they extended tonight's show to 2 hours. that's why she's getting another shot to sing.

    YES! I was pissed when I saw 30 rock wasn't coming on tonight.... I gave up on the office a couple weeks ago. sigh.

    She did great. I wasn't crazy about the song choice, but she nailed it. Kelly should have let her have a longer solo.

    I may have jumped the gun. Did your friend sing "Survivor" or "One Sweet Day"? Both singers were really good, but "One Sweet Day" was a really cool moment and great total performance.

    She was...singing One Sweet Day.

    Just beautiful. Wow. I can't tell you how excited I am for her. My wife and I both were just completely overcome by it. This is her dream...and she absolutely nailed it.

    I heard on the radio this morning that Team Cincy pulled out the upset! I still haven't watched the episode... spent my night watching the Rox (sadly they didn't pull it out!).
