In the post game interview, he said he wasn't going to have an MRI, because "he was scared that could reveal something worse." So he's going to keep trying the icing, stem, and medicine to see if it reacts. And if it doesn't, then and only then he'll "try a different route."

This isn't the first time I've said this, but he's either lying about the extent of his injury, or he's an idiot for continuing to play on something that he really can't play on. It's as simple as that. If a bruised knee has really been bothering you for 2 weeks now, then...

An MRI would solve all of this and it's probably early enough in the season to where if something was seriously wrong, a course of action could be devised. Rockets management COULD MAKE HIM get one, but I don't think anybody has the balls to call 30% of the team's salary out like that.

If management thought it was serious they would be forcing Tmac to get the MRI......

Please notice the lack of management talking here, this is just a typical case of Tmac exaggerating....again.

I have to agree with you here. I love Tmac. But the fact that he refused the MRI seems to be very fishy to me. I really hope what I am thinking is not true.

DaDa you don't have opinions, situations change your stance. You don't stick by anything dude.

People call you out because you're still contradicting yourself from years ago.

Forget that though, this is just another Tmac did it thread.

Love how you give management a pass, and only the same few can see how Shame battier for Gay was a franchise mistake. All you say about crap like him is that he has intangibles.

While you lace the board with Me Mac thread, lets see you keep it across the board and call them all out because nobody on this team is doing more than he is.

I can tell you are a Tmac fan from your name so I understand the stance that you take here. But, if you can read, this thread is not about how the players are doing. It's about the injury that Tmac claims that he is having. Therefore, let me help you to get back to the topic...what's your opinion about the MRI?

The name means nothing at all. Your analytical skills are rusty. I'm not the one constantly blaming the problems of the team on one guy, in every thread.

If he's hurt like he says he should get an MRI no big deal, and I gave my opinion on the MRI earlier to hermbob.

If he wants to see if some treatment works first, then fine but he's not committing murder that way either.

I hope that helps you out.

Is it something to do with his family background?
I remember his relatives have some genetic diseases etc?

You actually have to be doing something to quit, but yes that included.

If you want no part of it why did you post on this exact thread talking about the exact same issue you want no part of?

Somebody has to stand up for Tmac among all these ridiculous accusations. That's my only reason to post in this thread.

You sound more and more like a Tmac apologist to me. For your information, MRI is not a treatment. It is a test to try to diagnose the cause of your illness or symptoms. Why wouldn't you want to know the cause of your pain/injury anyway? After you have found out the cause with a MRI, you move on to find the right treatment.

I hope that helps you out.

I don't give anyone a pass.....I blame management for not getting the right players too, but I also call it like I see it, regardless of past situations.

    Times change, players change......opinions change.

if tmac is really hurt then he should get the damn mri to see if there's something wrong he can have time to let it heal and comeback in time for a playoff push...

why let it linger the whole season and be in and out of the lineup anyway
