But, luckily for Britney Spears, these days they have the technology to make any fat miraculously disappear. The troubled singer, 26, has ballooned recently on a fast food diet, spurning burn-outs down the gym for blow-outs down the burger bar. Yet when the official video of her latest single Piece of Me was released, Britney - to everyone's astonishment - was looking all gorgeous and slim. This was in stark contrast to the unedited video, which was leaked onto the internet this month. In that, the piece of Britney in question was looking a hell of a lot bigger. In the video, her second release from her latest album Blackout, digitally-altered Britney whinges about the paparazzi. She and a group of lookalikes sneak out of the house dressed in wigs in a bid to fool the waiting photographers. The group invade a Hollywood nightclub, as Britney sings: "They still take pictures of my derriere in the magazine. You wanna piece of me?" At one point, Britney finds a man who does. She drags him into the club toilets and rips open his shirt... only to find a hidden camera. What a downer. He could have been the one. The promo, which cost around £250,000, was directed by Wayne Isham, who worked with Britney on her 2002 single I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman. Despite turning up bloated, the singer got top marks from Isham. He said: "On set, she was excited to work, beautiful as always and a true professional. I was impressed as she choreographed the dance herself." An improvement on her shambolic MTV Awards performance in September then. The best computer technicians in the world would have struggled to touch that one up. Meanwhile, rumours are flying she could be marrying for the third time. Friends say she is set to get hitched to close friend Sam Luft in Vegas. Maybe Britney should hand her love life over to computer science...
Female celebs having babies gets mega coverage now for whatever reason. Some women just love that attention, so I'm thinking there will another young celeb getting pregged within a year... My guess is her career nosedives myself, but there's plenty of celebs now who don't have any kind of talent or what can be defined a "career" anyways (Paris and Nicole ), so who knows
