A QB's performance is based on the whole teams performance and GREATLY based on the offensive performance. Mario's is based on the rest of the D-Line (three #1 picks).

What an absolutely crappy argument to make. In fact, this argument is so terrible that the idiot logic arguments found on the LSAT are better than this.

Vince Young passed for 305 yards and ran for 74 more, along with 2 TDs and 2 INTs, and still lost to the Broncos 34-20. That would average out to a season of 4,880 passing yards, 1,184 rushing yards, 32 TDs, and 32 INTs, while going 0-16. Would YOU be happy with that?

    This is too easy.

You mean the defense that has allowed 157 points over the last 6 games in carrying the team??? I know this may sound good for Texans standards, but trust me its piss poor.

no producing 400 yards on offense has no relation to giving up 34 points. Scoring 20 points should be enough to win 9-10 games. A teams best defender having a monster game yet them still allowing 28 points shows that clearly that position is not all that important.

... And the Titans, which are #5 in total defense, BTW, are 2-4 in their last 6 games. See the correlation?

How many teams would win more than 2 of their last 6 having given up 157 points? I think it's pretty impressive Vince got 2 w's. If his defense wasn't worthless these games Vince would have a much better record. So I don't really see your argument. Yes, Vince wins more games when his defense plays well. You can say that about every qb?

Ask a Titan fan with no allegiance to Houston or UT:

Who would you rather have: Jay Cutler or Vince Young. Guess who they would pick. ;)

Peyton was 3-13 in his first season with a 71.2 rating. He was 13-3 in his 2nd season with a 90.7 rating.

Vince Young does have that 15-12 record over the last 2 years. His qb rating has gone from a 66.7 to a whopping 70.1. Improvement? Yes. Anywhere near Peyton Manning's universe? Not even freaking close.

Also, the Titans are #11 in scoring defense, the one that matters

Vince Young. Cutler is a good qb though. He'll be among the top 10 next season.

Albert Haynesworth missed 3.5 of those for the record.

I'm not sure even Vince Young's mom would say that Vince is better than Peyton Manning. How about Tom Brady, does his lack of mobility make him second to the mighty VY too?
